“I had the best meal at Buddies today! We were dining with 9 people and our server was on top of everything! Never forgot a single request, was quick with clearing our table, bringing more drinks and remembering extras. I got a chicken taco salad and said “this is the best taco salad I have ever eaten” maybe I was starving - or maybe it really was the best taco salad I have ever eaten - you be the judge! They also have a kid/senior menu (how smart to offer this to seniors too) and all the meals come with vanilla ice cream - but get this, you can upgrade it to moose tracks for a dollar - I AM OUTTTT.

It was my partners and i first time as adults and got incredibly good cocktails priced decently for their strongness and over all flavor (shortly temple- little strong, dirty expresso -perfect mix, tropical blue rum- can be on the strong side). The food was mind blowing and was perfectly seasoned accrost the bord with every bite of the lobster mac made me want one more bite even though I was full and had fantastic/friendly staff + wait time

“I’m from NC. I came back to Michigan as this is where most of my family live. We had a memorial service at my Sisters house on June 20th for my husband who passed away. We ordered 12 Detroit style pizzas, salads, Garlic knots and cheesy bread sticks The food was fantastic We served over 45 people and everyone raved about the food. Klavons made it so easy. Then my Brother in law and Sister took me there for dinner before I headed back to NC. The waitress was fantastic, the food was amazing. My only regret was we don’t have a Klavons in NC. Thank you all for your fantastic food and service“

“Ate outside, beautiful night. Jameson Highballs $6 good pour. $8.25 for a bare 1/4lb hot dog with onions, bun out of the bag. Condiments on the table. $3 fries were hot, larger cut. Not bad for downtown East Lansing. Had to pay for parking.“

“This is my daughter's and my favorite restaurant when we meet up in Lansing. We've never experienced anything less than delicious food. The staff is courteous and it's a busy but fun atmosphere. Highly recommend! 5/5 stars!“

“Discovered Buddies Grill when looking for a sports bar that was playing NBA Finals. Few bars I went to before weren’t playing the game but luckily Buddies had on (with volume) soon as I walked in. Michael the bartender is excellent at his job. Very personable and can tell is well liked from regular customers. Buddies Burger combo was also delicious! Cold beer went down nicely watching the game. Decided to come back next night as Michael said he’d have the NHL Finals on as well. Easy choice to return. Pricing I think is fair (compared to Ontario bar pricing anyways). Thanks for filling my NBA/NHL Finals needs on trip down for NASCAR! -Miller Light Mike from Soo Ontario“

“This is a great bar! You should go here. Cozy atmosphere inside, great view outside. Loud inside right by the band as expected but the cozy corners and patio make for good nooks for conversation. I was here with a small group at a busy time but we were able to find seating outside easily and even after we had to move inside. This would be a great place for a date night“

“I've been to the Green Door more times than I can count. For much of my 20s it was a weekly haunt for me and my family as we sang karaoke here. We stayed with them through host changes, even briefly hosting karaoke myself (note: do NOT hire me to run karaoke, I willingly accept being about the worst host the place ever had) and we stayed with them through the downturn in service that the pandemic and the subsequent kitchen closure caused.
Now that I live away from Lansing, I still try to visit the Green Door when I come into town.“

“We love this place! My partner and I go here once a week at least. It’s a welcoming place for locals and the food is affordable and good. You can get pretty much anything for under $20 and Lynn is always an excellent and attentive host!“

“Great hang out to meet people. If you enjoy playing darts or on a league, this pub has a separate room with many dart boards. They occasionally will have live music. The parking lot is fairly big, but on a busy day or night you might find yourself having to park elsewhere. There are security cameras outside that I'm aware of, so I feel safe parking in their lot.
