The best coffee shop and cafe in Detroit! We are longtime fans of James Oliver having lived next door since it opened. We've now moved from the city, but still continue to get their coffee shipped to our house - it's that good! The best spot for a cup of coffee, delicious baked good, and place to work/read/gather with friends.

Went for the vegan options and was not disappointed! I got the vegan bacon, egg and cheese on a rosemary salt bagel and it was sooo good! The carrot bacon was crunchy and delicious, the vegan eggs were great and as someone who doesn’t love vegan cheese normally it was really good on the sandwich.
I also got the vegan blueberry muffin which was also really good - one of the best blueberry muffins I’ve ever had, vegan or non vegan.

James Oliver Coffee Co. in Corktown is one of my favorite places to work remotely. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance—comfortable, welcoming, and professional without being overly quiet or distracting.

The coffee is consistently excellent, and they offer a great selection of sandwiches and food if you’re planning to stay for a few hours. Unlike some coffee shops that can get overwhelmingly loud, James Oliver maintains a noise level...
