It is a restaurant which is closing, not the old Joe Muirs. The bar service was brusk while getting the order, felt rushed. Some normal items were not on the menu. The piano is gone. The dessert cart was almost empty. Have gone there for years for birthday dinner, this may be the lsst.
We find Joe Muer Seafood Detroit is always a perfect experience. The delicious food, Calvin always provides perfect recommendations and the service combined with the ambience all make for an absolutely wonderful experience!
Visiting for the Jazz Festival. Fantastic water view. Great atmosphere. Pleasant Maitre d./Sommelier. Nice wine list- but too heavy on French selections. Food was okay. I understood this to be one of the best seafood spots in Detroit. Of our four entrees, the Banziano fish was excellent, the Fruit of the Sea seafood was good (but the pasta was not), and the other two dishes were average.
