This review is largely a warning about using the online ordering system. We eat Chela's fairly regularly and it's usually alright. The staff is friendly and the food is decent. Tonight was a pretty epic fail though and from reading other reviews, their online ordering seems to be a common weakness.Our online takeout order didn't make it to their kitchen as we discovered when we showed up to pick the food up. The food was authentic and amazing, like homemade. Salsa was great. Waiter was friendly and fast.We had delicious pork tamales and chicken enchiladas. The guac was a little flat but we threw the salsa in it to bring it up a notch.

OMG! Chelas in Dexter is just awesome! I don’t usually do reviews but my goodness I just can’t pass up the opportunity to let others know about this fabulous little place. Plenty of parking too!
