Starbucks in East Lansing

“One of my fave Starbucks in the MSU area because there's space to relax and it doesn't feel as corporate or uptight. The baristas are interesting and helpful and service pretty darn quick. I do coffee as opposed to fancy drinks, so I'm always relieved when coffee is strong and really good.“

“I love this place. I generally only come for my coffee and it is always perfect. The baristas are all very friendly and I appreciate that they will bring you your drink. My only objections is that the seating is often filled with people who appear to be there for the day working on their laptop. Consequently, it is often times difficult if you want to meet a friend there to have a cup of coffee. It just doesn't have enough seating to allow that, I don't believe.“

“The Starbucks on the MSU campus is a fantastic spot for students, faculty, and visitors alike! The atmosphere is always welcoming and busy. I happen to be a visitor but the staff here are incredibly friendly and efficient, even during busy hours.
As a local Realtor, I think Starbucks a great place to take a break from my busy schedule. Next time you’re on Campus, check it out. It’s between the MSU Spirit Shop and MSU Store, for a quick snack or a new MSU shirt. “

She helped me navigate the menu without making me feel rushed or overwhelmed, which I really appreciated. She was incredibly sweet, answered all of my questions, and even made my drink herself. “I stopped in to this location today around 2pm. The baristas were very welcoming as soon as I walked through the door. Matt was on register and he greeted me with a smile and a great conversation. The two girls making drinks were fast and I got my drink in barely any time at all. Great service and great attitudes from this location! You all should be proud“

“I adore the employees because despite the constant rush of college students, they still put in their best effort. Very kind and considerate.
Yes, orders can take 30+ minutes during rush hours, but people don't seem to understand that there are only about 5 employees serving hundreds of students a day. That can be a lot for anybody, so it's unrealistic for customers to expect their drinks to be made in 5 minutes. There were 20 orders ahead of yours, so it takes time. I don't mind waiting at all at this Starbucks.“

“This location rarely allows order online and it closes early on some days. I ordered here many times and the drink quality feels like buying a lottery. I have no issue with ordering in person, the baristas I’ve talk to are nice. But drink wise I do think more training is needed as I had literal hot water with creamer when ordered a chai latte.“
