“Located inside a supermarket, this place is a little hidden gem for fried chicken! Service was great, we walked up and were handed a sample tender and potato wedge. Got 12 pc chicken family meal that was way better and cheaper than KFC or chicken shack. The gentleman serving us gave us generous portions and was very nice. Everything tasted so good! Will be returning soon!“

“The atmosphere only got 3 stars because it’s fast food. The dining room has been very clean every time I’ve been there. The food is delicious! We had them cater a grad party and everyone raved about the food! Everything we’ve had has been delicious and well priced.“

“David the manager is great, I made an order, but had to change it last minute, because I was having more people than I expected at my house for dinner. David changed my order with no issues and told me it would be about another 8 minute wait. I said "No problem" because I understand I made the change of order. While waiting I sat and listened to the crew talking and communicating orders and a little personal talk, the communication between employees was nice and not offensive, which I find rare waiting for orders at food places these days. My food was piping hot when I got it and I had a really good experience at this location. The workers are great and work very well as a team to make sure customers get there orders right and with quality.“

“10/10 recommend! Such great tasting food!! And you definitely get your moneys worth compared to other fast food places. I had the blazin chicken sandwich. Huge juicy chicken. And the buffalo sauce tasted great!! My fiance got a cheeseburger and he loved it! Definitely tasted super fresh, not frozen. We got mozzarella sticks and you got 6 with the order. And a “small” order of sweet potato waffle fries which was big enough for us to share. We definitely will stop again on our way up north!“

Entered to a clean, warm environment (80's music in the air) and spoke with a wonderful and personable CSR named Darla who welcomed me and was very helpful with my order. “Got a half slab of ribs, the super combo, which was a slab of ribs, 12 pieces of chicken and two side orders. Got the broasted potatoes for side orders and they were delicious as were the chicken and ribs. A bit pricey, but we don’t order from here very often. This place was not my first choice because we usually get our broasted chicken and ribs from Lazybones on Groesbeck but they closed on April 12. What a bummer.“

“This is my go-to place for fried fish and chicken. The fried green beans and fried corn on the cob are also delicious. I turned a couple of my friends on to this place as well, including a friend visiting from Georgia. She liked the food so much, she took pictures and posted them on social media. Manhattan will continue to get my business as long as they continue or increase the level of service they currently provide.“

“I love these people. I live two minutes away from vandkye location but I’ll drive out my way to get here mainly because they use white meat in the pot pie the other store manger told me himself that he use whatever meat he has leftover in the pot pie and taste gross 🤮

“This was truly a religious experience. I’ve never had fried chicken or potato wedges like this before! Chicken was so crunchy and juicy inside with the perfect seasoning. Potato wedges were seasoned perfectly as well, crispy on the outside and mashed potato on the inside. They were out of biscuits so I can’t comment on that but all of this for $5! Unreal.
