“Located inside a supermarket, this place is a little hidden gem for fried chicken! Service was great, we walked up and were handed a sample tender and potato wedge. Got 12 pc chicken family meal that was way better and cheaper than KFC or chicken shack. The gentleman serving us gave us generous portions and was very nice. Everything tasted so good! Will be returning soon!“

“David the manager is great, I made an order, but had to change it last minute, because I was having more people than I expected at my house for dinner. David changed my order with no issues and told me it would be about another 8 minute wait. I said "No problem" because I understand I made the change of order. While waiting I sat and listened to the crew talking and communicating orders and a little personal talk, the communication between employees was nice and not offensive, which I find rare waiting for orders at food places these days. My food was piping hot when I got it and I had a really good experience at this location. The workers are great and work very well as a team to make sure customers get there orders right and with quality.“

“10/10 recommend! Such great tasting food!! And you definitely get your moneys worth compared to other fast food places. I had the blazin chicken sandwich. Huge juicy chicken. And the buffalo sauce tasted great!! My fiance got a cheeseburger and he loved it! Definitely tasted super fresh, not frozen. We got mozzarella sticks and you got 6 with the order. And a “small” order of sweet potato waffle fries which was big enough for us to share. We definitely will stop again on our way up north!“

Entered to a clean, warm environment (80's music in the air) and spoke with a wonderful and personable CSR named Darla who welcomed me and was very helpful with my order. Once I received my order, I was impressed with the professional attention and detail the entire staff performed with. Kudos for uplifting one's spirit on a bad day. It's greatly appreciated.“

“This is my go-to place for fried fish and chicken. The fried green beans and fried corn on the cob are also delicious. I turned a couple of my friends on to this place as well, including a friend visiting from Georgia. She liked the food so much, she took pictures and posted them on social media. I also appreciate the good service provided by the young ladies who take the orders. Manhattan will continue to get my business as long as they continue or increase the level of service they currently provide.“

“I love these people. I live two minutes away from vandkye location but I’ll drive out my way to get here mainly because they use white meat in the pot pie the other store manger told me himself that he use whatever meat he has leftover in the pot pie and taste gross 🤮

After reading the bad reviews about their food and customer service; I was very hesitant to order at this restaurant.When I walked in to place my order; the woman behind the counter (Renée) greeted me with a smile and was so kind & patient with me (considering I was indecisive about what to order). I eventually ordered the chicken (legs & thighs), catfish & fried mushrooms. Everything I ordered tasted great and the kids & I was surprisingly satisfied. The shrimp, chicken bites, onion rings etc. But my favorite is the Cole slaw ! I know most places make Cole slaw chopped larger I've always hated that.
