“Stopped in for a quick easy dinner for my finance and myself, we got the Meatloaf and the “KFC” Bowl and WOW, the meatloaf is so insanely good and the bowl is also delicious. I couldn’t recommend this place enough, the owner/staff are so warm, welcoming and the prices are reasonable. Don’t sleep on this little restaurant!!“

“Always great to come to chicken shack when I'm hungry for some chicken. The food tastes great, the employees are patient, and the general atmosphere of the restaurant is just so home-like. I've been going to this one in Warren since I was a kid, it's been an enjoyable experience every time 😁“
“Food is great here and what kind of restaurant can you go to and get great chicken and sides plus a couple beers for cheap? The answer is nowhere and restaurants overcharge way too much for food and drinks. The only place I’ll go to now for fried chicken because no one else even compares.“

“This is my go-to place for fried fish and chicken. The fried green beans and fried corn on the cob are also delicious. I turned a couple of my friends on to this place as well, including a friend visiting from Georgia. She liked the food so much, she took pictures and posted them on social media. I also appreciate the good service provided by the young ladies who take the orders. Manhattan will continue to get my business as long as they continue or increase the level of service they currently provide.“

“So damn good. It is inside the gas station which was already a good sign but the flavor and seasonings are perfect. Never had better fried chicken in my life. 2 thighs, 1 leg, and a biscuit for $6.35 including tax. They accept credit cards. Go get some already!“

Prices SOARED!! Paid $100 for 30 Wings & Family Tenders ( 12 Tenders, 6 biscuits & large potato wedges). So, will probably not be going to often. Not healthy anyway. That will help me stay away. Good while it lasted.“

“This is the best Krispy krunchy Chicken in the Metro Detroit area. I have visited several of the independent sites. This by far is the best ever!!!

Parking: This is a busy gas station usually two or three spaces to just pick up chicken are available.

“This was truly a religious experience. I’ve never had fried chicken or potato wedges like this before! Chicken was so crunchy and juicy inside with the perfect seasoning. Potato wedges were seasoned perfectly as well, crispy on the outside and mashed potato on the inside. They were out of biscuits so I can’t comment on that but all of this for $5! Unreal. I will be back, a lot!“

“Got a half slab of ribs, the super combo, which was a slab of ribs, 12 pieces of chicken and two side orders. Got the broasted potatoes for side orders and they were delicious as were the chicken and ribs. A bit pricey, but we don’t order from here very often. This place was not my first choice because we usually get our broasted chicken and ribs from Lazybones on Groesbeck but they closed on April 12. What a bummer.“

“I placed my clinic's lunch order over the phone with Angel, who was patient and attentive, she didn't rush me, she listened and noted each detail and read it all back to me with accuracy. My food hot and well prepared and I appreciated the great customer service I received from Angel, she's a real asset to the restaurant“

“Located inside a supermarket, this place is a little hidden gem for fried chicken! Service was great, we walked up and were handed a sample tender and potato wedge. Got 12 pc chicken family meal that was way better and cheaper than KFC or chicken shack. The gentleman serving us gave us generous portions and was very nice. Everything tasted so good! Will be returning soon!“
