“Wow! 🤩 Absolutely amazing street tacos and well seasoned arroz! I had a beef, chicken, and carnitas street taco and all of them were delicious. My mom ordered the elote preparado and offered some to me and definitely would get that next time! They garnish your tacos with sautéed peppers and onions and those perfect to add to your meal. Definitely will have again and highly recommend!“

“I'm on a mission to shout out about this restaurant. The prices are a little high in my opinion, but... (1) the food is worth it, and (2) I am spoiled by the prices in Detroit's Mexicantown, where there is a lot more competition for Mexican food. Mi novio, quien es de Jalisco, México, le gusta mucho la comida de El Tajín. So if Oscar says it's good food, I KNOW it's good, authentic Mexican food. The elote is TO. DIE. FOR In my humble opinion. If you want really great Mexican food in the Toledo area, I cannot recommend this place enough. Try street taco Thursdays ($2 street tacos) if you're skeptical, because at $2 a taco you can't lose. I think once you've experienced El Tajín's food you will become a believer.“

“I can't say enough great things about this restaurant. My wife and I have been to every Mexican cuisine restaurant around the MI/OH border in the Toledo vicinity. We have never had a bad meal. Always great, and as an added plus their margaritas are Best in Toledo. The staff is fantastic, and the food comes out hot and quick. We stopped in once again last night. It doesn't get better than this!“

“Yummy carne asada torta. Meat had good flavor. Always appreciate when restaurants grill the torta bread. Also, I’m picky about my toppings, they got my order correct and was quick service. Cute little place. I at first showed up at one of the chain San Marcos and thought about just going in but I’m glad I made the effort to go here.“
“This is a true Tex Mex Restaurant! I'm a Latina that can verify real Mexican dining & Los Amigos it is. My favorite is the Enchilada Combination plate because it takes me back to my childhood & taste just like Grandma's. I highly recommend dining or take out from Los Amigos.“

“Everytime I’m in the mood for a great tasty margarita, Don Juan’s at Franklin gets me together everytime. My go to is either a margarita flight (4 - 9oz glasses) or 2 jumbos and a steak taco. The manager Gene (spellcheck) always makes sure i’m great and my order.“

“The mister and I walked in here thinking we were going to a run of the mill Mexican restaurant. Boy were we surprised. The menu takes your taste buds all around the world with Italian, Greek, Mexican, and American cuisine through the lense of a townie dive bar. Service was quick and friendly. Are these tacos authentic, not even a little. But are they better than your mom’s white people taco night, oh yes. By a long shot. We will be back.“

“Delicious food! My partner and I got birria tacos and quesabirria tacos and both were so good! We came at a slow time so the restaurant was pretty quiet and the food came out quickly. My partner got a large frozen strawberry margarita and we were telling our friends about it all night, genuinely fantastic place!“

“Excellent food, quick efficient professional service
Six of us visited for lunch and we ordered from lunch menu. Everything taste so fresh and come with some side. Super reasonable price $8 is a steal for that much of food. Clean environment, tidy restaurant, colorful seating and nice bar indeed. If I’m in this area then definitely returning .
Only issue I found no soup in the restroom and no towel in the holder.“

“Food is good staff was friendly. In the winter there soups are great. Chicken wings are fried crispy they were good. Green salsa is great spicy. Nachos are mad as individual nachos love that the supers are very good. I had a chunky beef enchilada it was very good.“

“We have been here twice now and everything has been delicious. The chips are a favorite of all the places we have tried. You get a large bottle of salsa also. Taco salad, wet burritos and enchiladas are very good. Gladly drive the 30 mins for the food and chips :)“
