“Fantastic Chinese food! We've been on the hunt for a decent Chinese place nearby and we finally struck gold with Mandarin House. If you're a fan of Orange Chicken, I highly recommend theirs; however, know the reviews of this dish are surprisingly polarizing.The staff is also fantastic. Super friendly and informative regarding any questions we had.“

“This is our favorite local Chinese restaurant. We usually use the drive through because it is so convenient. It is best to call ahead as everything is made fresh and you may be in the drive through line as long as 15 minutes or more if you don't. Their soups are a little thick for my taste but they are quite good. The entrees are fantastic. All the ingredients taste fresh and are seasoned perfectly. The staff are exceptional and treat you with great kindness and courtesy which has kind of gone to the wayside in many establishments.“

“The service was fast and friendly. I had trouble making up my mind with all of the tasty choices on the menu, but my server was able to guide me to what is popular. I also told the server what I was looking for flavor wise and she was able to guide me to a very excellent choice. The food came quick, it was hot and tasty. I’ve had trouble at some Asian restaurants with my stomach getting upset by the food, but this food didn’t bother my stomach one bit!! We got a good amount of food for the price.I had the TriCity Roll + crab cheese rangoons, my boyfriend had the Mongolian chicken. Both were excellent (I sampled his too!)“

“I think Chan’s has the best Chinese food in the Tri-City area. Food is made fresh for each order, they allow for originality when preparing dishes and they have the most incredible crab cheese. We have been supporting this small business since inception.“

“We used to dine here 2000 to 2015 or so regularly. I was disheartened to see all the bad reviews, and wanted to go during holiday break. We dined there for lunch yesterday and it was as good and varied and tasty as we had remembered. I'd give it an additional half-star for its reliability after all the years: crunchy fried foods, noodles, variety of sweet chicken dishes, etc. Not "authentic" Chinese, but for the tastes of Bay City MI folk, and satisfying. Service good and friendly.“
