“This is some of the best sushi in Metro Detroit, it’s our favorite sushi place and we go there almost weekly. The food is always delicious and the staff and service is phenomenal. I have never left this restaurant disappointed or hungry. If I could give this place more than five out of five stars, I would. 11/10 would recommend. Some of our favorite roles include, Caribbean roll, Cancun roll, rainbow roll, just the name a few examples they’re all delicious just order whatever suits your taste, you won’t be disappointed.”

“What makes them stand out, besides good pizza, is they have a good deep dish pizza. It is a lot of cheese, so be prepared to not make it through as many pieces as a regular pizza.”

We love that they hosted a Be Positive event with pizza & ice cream for the community. They even did a free raffle for kids with be positive items, our toddler won a star pillow and it says positive phrases to her. We just thought it was such a generous and kind event to host that really reflects their commitment to the community!”

My wife and I had our wedding at the end of May, and Suzy and the team at Chive handled our food, drinks, décor, and day-of coordination. It was truly an incredible experience—our wedding was even more beautiful than we could have imagined, and we have Chive to thank for that.

Let’s start with the food. We wanted something special for our guests (and ourselves), and Suzy crafted a thoughtful, homemade menu that reflected our exact tastes. The mushroom and pea pasta, lemon chicken with squash, Caesar salad, grilled asparagus—everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. And the dessert spread was elegant and delicious: fruit, doughnuts, and the best chocolate banana cake I’ve ever had. She also created inventive and refreshing signature cocktails that were a big hit.

The décor was just as impressive. Suzy helped us bring our gem-inspired color palette to life with rich greens, purples, and blues that created such a unique and elegant vibe. On the big day, she and her team did an amazing job with setup, smoothing out details, and making sure everything ran seamlessly.

“I was there for a trivia competition. They don't serve food but encourage you to bring it in if you desire. My table was pretty much teatotalers but the waitress still was very attentive.”

“I rarely write reviews but I want this restaurant to never go away. Go there, spend your money, you won't be upset. Comfortable restaurant, fantastic staff, and amazing food! We ordered appetizers, lunch, and take out for dinner. We got the Reuben Spring Rolls, Pretzel Sticks, Monte Cristo and the Bourbon Burger with Sweet Potato Fries, all delicious! The Mushroom Soup and Beef Stew are the best I've ever had!”

“I fumbled the ball on ordering a cake in time for my daughter’s graduation. After realizing my mistake I called a few great places who were of course, booked. And Never Forgotten said hold. Talked to the Baker and made it happen including an additional request for two trays of mixed little pastries brownies cookies and one with raspberry. They are amazing at this shop where I love to snatch the infamous old world bread right off the shelf. Long story short, everything was perfect for my grad and we even called to pick it up a little late-it was “sure thing” in response to every request from start to finish. I’ll be stopping by soon to thank you again. You really make delicious Everything! I now am in love with two bakeries. Heaven help me!”

“Nice unpretentious restaurant and wonderful staff. Although there is sometimes a language barrier, the staff goes out of their way to accommodate special food requests. For example: I am allergic to bean sprouts and do not like bamboo shoots. They will allow me to substitute 2 other vegetables in a dish that has those ingredients, at no extra charge. Also they will allow you to change sauces for a dish. For example, I like their masaman curry sauce but I find they're drunken noodles sauce is too salty for me. They will allow me to order the drunken noodle dish and substitute the massaman curry sauce for the drunken noodle sauce.😋 Their lunch portion is perfect and comes with a complimentary soup. Whenever I order a dinner size portion, I always have leftovers. Thank you guys so much.”

I can't complain about anything, the prices were fair. The sandwich was amazing, Italian sub for reference. And I ordered on doordash for pickup, it was ready within the 10 minute drive from my office. My order was easy to find and delivered with a smile. I will definitely be back.”

“I’m not a huge fan of Chinese food...it is either blah or just ok to me. There’s never been a restaurant that made me think it was great, mostly because I prefer other ethnic food much more. That being said, even with my bias, this place is really good! The portions are HUGE and at a fair price, and the egg rolls are perfectly crisp on the outside and flavorful and moist on the inside. What makes it 5 stars? The staff has a sense of urgency...everyone is bustling around in there, but they are really friendly and you genuinely feel that they are happy their restaurant is so full and busy. I got the sense that they really wanted to please people. Even on a Friday night when it was very busy, we barely waited 10 minutes to get seated. Our food came out very fast and our waitress was super nice. It was also noticeably very clean in there. Nice updated decor and fresh clean tables and booths.”

The food was very fresh and there was a large variety of items on the menu for people with different diet, restrictions and different appetites. Our server, Ashley, was very attentive and a wonderful waitress. Greg Conley was great to deal with and help us to find the perfect venue for our special dinner.
