Our server, Jesse, has exactly the kind of energetic, fun, and sincere personality one would hope to find in a waitress. Jesse is super nice and always checking on us. (They have the MOST AMAZING HOMEMADE HOT SAUCES, also available to purchase, called "Swat". The Blue labeled bottle is may favorite!) We Love This Place!“

“Visited O.W.L. early today as it was the only dine in resturant open for breakfast.

The breakfast menu is small....and the food was hot, fresh, flavorful AND, delicious. We ordered bacon with egg and chorizo with egg breakfast sandwiches.

Sandwiches were generous, and prepared with care. Make sure to ask for eggs well done if you don't want runny egg yokes with your meal.

Offerings of fresh pineapple and watermelon juice are refreshing breakfast thirst quinchers if you're looking for a natural morning pick me up!

I also paid attention to the chef....she continuously put on fresh gloves when handling food and beverages.....this was very important to me.

The chef/server and staff are pleasant and very accommodating!

We will return, soon, to sample their taco options!

“Today Gracie and I took Marco out for Father’s Day Brunch at Ten Friends Diner which was such an amazing and positive atmosphere. Food was amazing and I got to have a heart felt conversation with the owner Carolyn. I’ve never been in an establishment that focused of mental illness and helping others. Thank you for such an inspiring and welcoming environment. We will definitely be returning. Gracie and I may even stop by for a coffee. We also bought a meal for someone in need which made my heart Feel so full.“

“Soul food the movie was running on a TV. The hostess Crystal was pleasant and the cook Flo made me a tasty Western Omelette. Coffee was fresh. Good place to grab a quick bite if you have to wait near the Patrick McNamara federal building and you are feeling hungry.“

They had plenty of open tables at 7:30am, though they were starting to fill up a bit by 8.

We were grabbing a quick bite on our way to the train station. They were super nice about our being in a rush. Good food reasonably priced. And they were also kind about me being unable to read the menu correctly before coffee, lol.

I had the classic, eggs toast bacon and homefries (basically fried potatoes cubes with salt, very tasty). My dining partner had the avocado toast (they already own a house, it's fine), which was more loaded than expected, but pleasantly so.
All tasty!

The coffee was coffee. Nothing super fancy, but did the job.

Putting on my list for places to hit when I have some time before catching the train! Remember to bring change for the parking meter, or get the Windsor parking app.

Parking: There's a few street parking spots, metered. There's more parking in a lot nearby, not sure of the cost difference. No free parking that I saw.“

“It's a good place to grab a quick bite, especially for lunch. I order take out once a week or more from here. They have a good variety of options and I love their specials. The staff is very friendly and they make the food quick. There isn't much room to dine in but they have tables. I recommend them if you're looking for a nice lunch but don't have much time.“

“Me and my wife used to go here when we first started dating, decided to stop back in and it was worth it. The Chili cheese fries were exactly what we were looking for, the food is your standard coney food and it's great. Tuna and Geno's special had big portions and good flavor with crispy chicken, the atmosphere is lovely, good old fasioned diner feel with the ball game on. Staff is always incredibly friendly. If you're in the mood for Coney Island this is the best you'll find.“

It’s like being served at a luxury resort with the elements of comfort food mixed all together. Paco cooked the meals in these photos, and came out and asked how it was, I love that!
John is always there, keeping a watchful eye over everything and making sure there’s balance and order ?
It’s clean, always open and you can’t beat the food/atmosphere. There’s even bowls of fresh fruit on the breakfast bar. To top it off, the owner likes to come around and greet/chat with his customers.
Valentino’s - 8 Mile is a must try if you’re in the D!“

“Nice place, very good breakfast, good portions and price. Plenty of tasty coffee! Service was very good. I recommend they clean the parking lot and entrance though. Believe it or not it does affect business. When I saw the mess I wondered if it was clean inside.“
