“We 10 have gone there weekly for years. Now another 10 go monthly. Why? They can accommodate 10 people easily due to their size relative to other options. And location. For the monthly group they have a semi-private (garden) room. The food is fairly priced for adequate quality. But the primary reason we keep returning is the friendly and competent wait staff. Our favorite is surely Molly. She always smiles and acts like she's glad to see us. It makes us feel good and starts our days out great We appreciate her.“

“We come to Maria’s whenever we’re headed to Lexington for a day trip. Today was no different! However, it’s our first time with our youngest. He’s newly one and definitely has a voice! As any baby, his voice cannot be tamed nor controlled because we’re in a public setting. While waiting for our breakfast, he started to get loud and antsy - probably hungry since we already drove an hour from home. A gentleman at the restaurant was simply not okay with the noises and very loudly and abruptly yelled for us to quiet him down. The entire restaurant fell silent. Everyone looking over at us but with complete sympathy, reassuring us he’s just a baby and there’s not much we can. And how appalled they are someone would ever make a comment. Still continuing to try and keep his voice down with anything on the table that I possibly can, he yelled again. & the man a second time, yelled “QUIET!!” At this point, I of course broke down. I’ve never been out in public and someone yelled at me to get my 1 year old to stop making noise. I’m also not a parent who doesn’t care and let’s their kids do whatever. We were trying all we could because we also are respectful of others dining. This is where I need to say how much I appreciate the staff and Maria herself. All the employees were coming up to me, giving me a hug. Trying to console me. Brought suckers for my boys. Maria wouldn’t even let us pay for breakfast, which we wouldn’t let but she insisted! People at other tables were coming up and talking to us and letting us know how unnecessary the comments were. To Maria, staff and all the people who showed us kindness, thank you. Thank you for understanding. Thank you for letting me know you’ve all been through it at some point. Thank you for reminding me that a baby is a baby. Your kindness will never be forgotten. “It is so shady that people would write anything to hurt a business absolutely totally wrong we have more than 99% of our customers are happy with the food in orders and service they get but you get that one presenter that don’t get it they’re way so they try to make other people look bad this restaurant is A 4 or 5 Star restaurant we owned the place since 2019 as owners we are there every day to make sure our employees are on top of their game as everybody knows us now we are here for our customers 100%“
