“Went to this place for a pool tournament. It was a decent dive spot. They have a homey back yard area with picnic tables and horse shoe pits. Not sure about drinks or food, as I don’t drink, but from what food I seen order, it didn’t look too bad.”

“Great little hidden gem in the whopping metropolis of Freeport, Michigan. The owner and his mom were very welcoming the first and only time there. I'm not from here and they made feel at home. The food is great and priced reasonably. Great way to meet new friends.”

“After moving to Michigan from North Carolina we didn't have a clue where to go to get some good Mexican food. After trying this place we have found our go to again. All the food was so good and fresh. The waiter was very nice and helpful. We both got something different than our usual and we were very pleased with it. Highly recommend this place!”

“Not quite a 5 more like 4.5. Service was good and friendly. Was not happy to hear they didn’t have draft root beer. But at least they brew their tea. The French onion soup is good, but has way too many croutons. It was like they filled the bowl with croutons and poured the soup on top. The Rueben is good and flavorful”

“Starbucks is always great, Obviously! BUT, this is my Starbucks, in my hometown, and it makes me feel so lucky, because of the Baristas at this particular Starbucks! I visit different locations frequently when I’m not in Lowell, and none of the other locations Baristas match the energy of the Baristas at this Starbucks! These ladies and gentlemen are irreplaceable, and I would be so sad to lose any of them! The Baristas make this Starbucks the best one I have ever been to! Sometime I stopped in to grab coffee, even when I don’t want or need coffee just so I can stop in and say hi, because these people are just kind, caring, amazing, sweet, talented baristas! They make the absolute best drinks, My go to drinks are extra specialized, And they have all of my regular drinks and items memorized, Which makes it so convenient to not have to explain my order every time I go! I’m just so happy this is my Starbucks as the one in my town, The one that I visit on a daily basis, And my go to! It’s got to the point that most of the time if I’m not in Lowell, I will just wait until I get back into Lowell to get my Starbucks because the other locations just don’t compare! I love all of you guys there! Keep up the good work! Y’all are absolutely amazing human beings, Everyone of you!”

“This is one of the cutest Starbucks I've ever visited. When I walked in all three baristas gave me such a friendly welcome and we all had a lovely chat about the historical building (so sad I didn't think to snap a photo before I left, the facade is gorgeous and the little terrace adorable) and a good natured laugh at my partner still being afraid to order for himself after 14 years. The orders were correct and timely, and overall just such a nice experience in such a small and cute Starbucks location.”

“Stopped in passing through town, took a seat at a table and an older lady dropped off a menu and napkins, I started playing music on the jukebox to which she made a rude remark about and from that point forward didn’t seem to enthusiastic about my presence. I tried to flag her down to order but she put me off and acted like it was an inconvenience when it wasn’t even that busy. Luckily a younger lady with dreads seen I was unattended to and even got me to stay for another round, would go back.”

“I have been a fan of the Ice cream caboose since the day it opened and at that time I lived less than two miles away so it was a trip I made twice a week. I tried everything on the menu except for the non-dairy ice cream. The people who work in the caboose are always super friendly and you can plainly see it is a family environment. I will make the trip to the caboose at least twice each month of the summer season and fall. Overall the caboose is an icon of ice cream in the making.”

If you are looking for the right balance between sweet and salty, look no further. These cookies are not just overloaded with sugar, they are balanced.The peanut butter cup cookie is also amazing.Do yourself a favor and stop in to try some cookies. They are baked fresh daily in small batches so hurry before they are sold out!”

“It's a sm pizza joint, for pickup primarily so the atmosphere is what it is. The order was taken, pizza was made, & home we went! Delicious! Gobbled down first slice wo stopping! Lol! & a biggie to me......they actually sell "by the slice" also! I wish more places did this!!!Parking: It's a sm lot so hard to get in&out of.”

“Purposely went on a Friday for Steak Night (need to make rez for Steak Night). DELICIOUS, perfectly prepared 28oz. ribeye. Yes….bring your appetite for that one! Best jalapeño poppers I’ve ever had. SUPER friendly waitress. It is LOUD in the original bar area, so you may want to request seating in the addition area. We will be back!”

“We used the drive thru for ice cream. My hubby and son like the chocolate malts (the only nearby place with malts, not just shakes). We take our dog for a "pup cup", a road trip and a treat. This Dairy Queen is a sentimental favorite. Hubby brought me a butterscotch shake after each of a children were born. Gotta love ice cream!!! Lot's of choices and lots of fun.Kid-friendliness: It's kid and family friendly but the tables were really close together. “I go to Richies at least 2-3 times a week. The food is really good and not too spendy. Their BLTs are the best I've ever had. They pile on the bacon not like other places. Their potato soup is only on Thursday and it's to live for. Olive burgers are great. Their French fries are the best around. Their staff are very polite and friendly. I love little restaurants like Richie's because lots of locals are lifers. I'm not from Hastings but I feel at home here. In Hastings and Richie's. I like to sit with friends I haven't met yet so I ask if I can eat at their table. Great way to get to know people.”
