“The food is so very good. You HAVE to try the garlic/parmesan popcorn. They make pizza the way it is supposed to be made (delicious). The house brewed cream soda and root beer are great. The staff is amazing and friendly. I highly recommend this place. I am a true foodie and this place is going on my LIST!“

“Stopped at this place on the evening we spend the night there. My burger and Mac and cheese were so so so DELISH! I’m hungry just thinking about it! Drinks were on point and Bailey our server was such a sweetheart! We had to go back the next day for breakfast! Pancakes will make you want to slap ya mama! The owner even came over and checked on us and we had the opportunity to praise his business! 1000% recommend. Everyone was nice and helpful! Definitely would go there again if I’m in the area!!“
“The whitefish was exceptional yesterday! Served by Miss Lou who is a top notch server! It’s a great atmosphere when the wild ones aren’t there.“

“Love this place! The ice cream is delicious and is the main reason for an overnight in Grand Marais on our way downstate. There are some other UP towns where you can find this ice cream, but not after Labor Day. The Sherpa Shack was still open in mid-September, but with limited hours. Service was really friendly, portions were generous, and prices were reasonable. You can even get a flight of ice cream flavors if you can't decide!“

“We were looking for a late afternoon bite and a pint. Chose this based on being about to sit on the patio on a lovely fall day overlooking the harbor and there was parking space. The on tap hard cider was excellent as was the Two-Hearted Ale. We recommend the Pesto Grilled Cheese, the French Onion Grilled Cheese, and the Mighty Mac burger. The cheese curds were good as was the lasagna soup (trust me here). We love that there is an actual soup and salad bar. Lots of Tigers fan fans on site to watch the game.“
