“My sister and I were visiting the area and were looking for some wings and were led to this place. From the moment we stepped inside Rico was welcoming, and we struck up a great conversation. He gave us his recommendations about what to try when we told him what we were looking for, and they did not disappoint.

I had the lemon pepper rub and my sister had the wet lemon pepper sauce. The chicken was seasoned perfectly and the flavors were very apparent. He gave us a honey mustard barbecue sauce to sample that was outstanding! Lived it with my fries. Drink options include kool aid, and although I didn’t have any, this was a nice throwback to childhood.

Turns out they've redesigned their drive-thru so that if you're using mobile-thru you have to take a completely different entrance into the parking lot than what you used to. You can't even get into that line without leaving the parking lot, going out into the street and reentering through the other entrance. So when you get in the wrong line, it becomes a big catastrophe trying to get your food.“

“whenever I have doctor's appointments in downtown Grand Rapids, my hubby always asks me to get food from here. he used to live close to it and misses it SOOOOO much. So, we had some money today and I headed straight there to get me some GOOD fried chicken and perch. parking can be a pain, but it's definitely worth the wait and hassle. I also think it's soooo cool that they remember my boyfriend, by name, when I showed him a picture of us, and it's been a good 3 years since he has been there physically.“

“Chicken Coop serves food that’s rich in taste and full of flavor. It has honestly become my go-to spot for midnight cravings! My friends and I love heading out after 12 AM, and since this place is open until 4 AM, it’s absolutely perfect for late-night outings.
I can’t express enough how much I appreciate this place the staff is incredibly sweet and super friendly, which makes every visit even better. The chicken over rice is a must-try! It even reminds me a bit of Indian biryani, so if you ever get late-night biryani cravings, this spot will definitely hit the mark.
