Jimmy John's in Grand Rapids

“We were greeted coming in the door. Food was ready fast. Toasted chicken bacon ranch was hot and delicious.

Rare place where everyone seemed to actually enjoy working here. There were some new employees, but the trainers seemed to be helpful instead of just barking commands at underlings.

Highly recommended. I'm sure there are hiccups on busy days, but this type of teamwork is really nice to see these days.“

“I had forgotten my wallet and it had lots of cash in it. I looked around all day for it and then I realized I might’ve left it at Jimmy John’s. The very nice people there had started in the back for me to come get it. They also gave me a free sub card, which was really really nice. Their sandwiches are great. Everyone there is super nice. I highly recommend if you’re looking for a nice tasty lunch!“

“My son and I were at this location when a large storm that required us to seek shelter came through. The workers were were kind, helpful and made a scary situation seem more like an adventure. We appreciate them. The sandwiches were great too!“

“Freaky fast delivery on a new level certainly consider this if your in a hurry! They had my food waiting and ready within a few minutes of putting in my order. Also tried there delivery service and they are again freaky fast. They are about 15 minutes out from my location but had gotten here within 20 minutes after I placed my order. Very good service all around and there drivers seem to be extremely nice and considerate. If you are a first here I suggest the chicken bacon ranch toasted sub one of my favorites for sure!“

“I love this Jimmy John's I would probably be dead if it wasn't for this place. As a college student downtown I always forget my lunches and JJ's is nearby and so affordable and tasty and filling!!! I love getting sandwiches here and I'm so glad I get rewards for ordering.“

“My son was at Cornerstone University for basketball camp the night June 25 and I ordered food for delivery. They had an unexpected meeting come up and I had to call to push back the time. Even though the driver already left the young lady that answered the phone was very nice about accommodating for us. The driver was very helpful when trying to find a good spot to meet for drop off as well.“

The staff was incredibly accommodating, and the guy who took our call shared his own experience with celiac disease, and outlined the precautions they planned to take when preparing our order. “Of all the sandwich shops I know of, I prefer Jimmy Johns the most. I think they're a tiny bit more expensive but the quality and taste improvent over other places makes it worth it. I wish there were more locations in my area to be able to eat there more often than I currently do.“

“Tonica provided an absolutely amazing experience! I love Jimmy John’s, but I hadn’t been in a while and was excited to try the new toasted subs. She not only introduced me to the new toppings but also had extensive knowledge about everything on the menu. When I ordered the steak sub, she made sure to mention that it had horseradish—something Jimmy John’s doesn’t usually have. I was so grateful she shared that little detail because I wouldn’t have liked my sub otherwise!

What truly stood out was her kindness and patience—she made me feel at ease in a way that most places don’t. I often feel rushed and anxious when ordering, but Tonica took the time to explain all my options with such warmth and care. When I got to the register, she continued to treat me with genuine kindness and respect. She turned what could have been a simple transaction into a truly great experience. Jimmy John’s is lucky to have her!!!
