“Ginza made for a nice dinner after an evening out. I tried a California roll and their tonkotsu ramen. Both were good, but the noodles for the ramen were just slightly overcooked. The flavor of the broth was excellent and deeply savory, however, and the toppings were good. I guess it evens out. It’s a good spot for noodles or sushi, and they have a menu with some decent variety. It’s definitely worth a try if you like either of those foods.“

“My family eats here every time we visit downtown. They are kind to our daughter but the atmosphere is also great for a date. I have also dropped in for lunch between work meetings and the service is fast for a tight schedule. The Black Dragon roll is great!“

“This is my favourite sushi spot due to food alone (I do wish they had a stand alone space, but the market isn’t so bad either). The head sushi chef is super nice and greets me kindly every time I come here. I am a picky eater so I haven’t explored a whole lot of the menu, but the rolls I get are always delicious. You should try this place out for yourself!“

“I have picked up orders a few times through uber with jaku. Each time staff is incredibly professional, kind, and it always is a great atmosphere. Yesterday I finally got the chance to dine in being off of work and going out with friends. I tried the California roll for myself and then some of my friends michigan roll. Ontop of great service the food was incredible. I highly recommend anyone to give Jaku a try. They are worth every penny for the costs of their food some can get costly but trust me when i say it truly is worth it and you wont regret spending a bit extra for such great food once you try it. I have a new top favorite restaurant along with one of my friends. Our other friend is a regular customer already. I can definitely see why he along with others are loyal cutomers to Jaku. Between the food, service, and atmosphere it was truly one of the best experiences I have had with dining in, in a very long time.“

“This is going to be a detailed review. My son loves sushi and ramen. So for his birthday we chose to take him. I googled and we ended up here. I have never felt more welcomed walking into a restaurant. The menu selection was insane. We couldn't make up our minds. The woman (assuming owner) brought us hot tea with the warmest smile. Upon ordering, I was having trouble picking a sushi roll. The chef (assuming another owner) told me he was going to make me one called a Golden Tiger consisting of everything I love. First out was miso soup and ginger salad. Our family has never had either, and we're pleasantly surprised. Delicious!! When our food came out we were blown away with how much food it was haha. They explained the best way to eat each thing. The food was literally THE BEST Japanese food we've ever had. From the sushi, to ramen, to our other entries. We had mentioned it was our son's birthday. The two (assumed) owners came over with fried ice cream, candles and a happy birthday sign. They sang to him and were so joyful and sincere. As lame as this sounds I had tears in my eyes. If you've ever been on the fence, go!! My husband and I said after leaving we felt like we were having dinner in their homes. Felt like literal guests. Best experience I've EVER had at a restaurant. We will hopefully be back weekly.“

“Very fast delivery. Very friendly ordering and delivery staff! Portions were huge and cost was very inexpensive. Loved the reusable containers as well. Food was beyond delicious. “a friend first invited me here and I wasn’t even sure what a poki bowl was…. now I can’t even get enough!!!! so so fresh! fast and easy and perfect for on the go too… the best kind of fast food bc you feel amazing after you eat it too!!! i highly recommend and if you’re kind of a picky eater don’t worry- they are so helpful and you will be amazed how much you love it!! my kids even love it! super thankful now they have 3 stores!!!!“

“I go here every chance I get. Yes, it's a little pricey but Lord is it worth it. Everyone there is SO nice and helpful. My only issue is that the AC is pretty loud in there so it's hard to hear what the workers are saying. Besides that, I 100% recommend this to everyone!!!“

“Ordered takeout a few hours ahead for my brother in laws birthday. The food was ready to go and well packaged on time, so great service. I am a vegetarian, and the veggie sushi was good, but nothing incredible. My brother in law was also uninspired by the tuna and eel sushi, but still ate it. So I would give it a solid 3. However my sister in law (who doesn’t normally like sushi) tried the California roll and enjoyed it, even going back for more. So I count that as an extra star!“
