What a little gem! We were looking for something not too heavy and a little bit off the beaten path, so to speak. Perfect! We both chose the curry chicken bowl for our first time and found it delicious! The curry wasn't overpowering, and just the right amount of brown rice. The fresh salad on top gave it a pleasant texture. Took a while to come out, but that's just the sign of careful preparation. I'd come back in a heartbeat the next time I'm in the area.

If you are looking for authentic Caribbean feel in the cold space of Grand Rapids, look no further. The authentic food, tropical atmosphere, and music will bring you to the warmth of the Caribbean coasts. The chef also does what he can to create authentic and healthy at the same time. You will not be disappointed.

Despite minor details to improve, like larger trash receptacles, the friendly service and generous portion sizes, like the chicken bowl, leave customers satisfied and eager to return.
