The atmosphere is perfect for a fancy date. Very romantic setting to impress. I don't drink alcohol and they had an alcohol free 0% Giasen Merlot which was exquisite. I started with French Onion Soup and Cheese Popover Muffins. For an entree, I had Australian Rib Lamb Chops with a Mint Demi Glase. For a side, I enjoyed Brussels Sprouts with Honey Dijon Mustard Sause. Everything exceeded my expectations and the Merlot paired nicely with the Lamb Chops. I highly recommend the Chop House as a must visit dining destination in the heart of Grand Rapids.“

“My nephew and I shared a meal here today and our experiences ranged from very good to off the scale great. We tried a Hot Mess breakfast with eggs, potatoes, chorizo,etc; it was perfectly balanced (neither to spicy or bland), super fresh; loved it. We also got a grilled cheese, with pepper jelly. The bread was the best ever (toasted perfectly) and crunchy, and it wasn't to cheesy (some places put too much cheese which makes it messy) with just enough pepper jelly to create an original experience; and one of my favorite sandwiches of my life. The salad was the low point of the meal as it was merely perfect. We also got a chocolate croissant which was great and a pot de creme which was decadent and..can I say perfect again. This is my new favorite place“

“Frequently meet friends and have some of the best brunch in the city. Always busy but for a reason, and the service and hospitality which are already top notch, do not suffer. An example of this is when they bring you your food they remember who ordered which plate. This is one of those underrated hospitality things they do that other establishments don’t reach. “One word, yummy! I am a huge fan of Rise, often stopping in for a bagel and latte, so having Rise make the delicious cutting cake was a no-brainer! After we cut our cake, we had the remaining sliced and available for guests. Not a single slice was left, so it’s safe to say our guests also found it to be delicious!“

I didn’t try the food, so can’t speak to that, but their beer selection is solid — especially if you’re into hop-forward brews. They’ve got a good variety and offer flights, which is always a plus when you want to sample a few.

The atmosphere is fun and lively, and the service was solid throughout. Definitely a cool place to hang out and enjoy some well-crafted beers in Grand Rapids.“

The owner is friendly; communication was efficient and prompt. Super happy with our choice. If we ever had another event, I would absolutely order a bulk order again. First stop - Sundance Grill and Bar, 7:30 in the morning on a Friday? Hell yes!

Chef Coach made an awesome salad with strawberriws and raspberry vinaigrette, and an amazing chicken and rice stuffed bell pepper dish. I'm not a culinary expert, so I couldn't tell you it was a flame-roasted bell pepper with marinated grilled chicken, tomato, cilantro-lime rice, and roasted red pepper crema...but I can tell you it was delicious and totally worth it!

I didn't think to get a before picture, but I'm attaching the leftovers. The peppers were stuffed, and so are we!
