“We visited the Grandville, MI Red Robin restaurant on 3/6/2025. The food was good, service was excellent. I am disappointed with one thing. It may seem unimportant, but prevented me from ordering my first choice. I wanted to order the Sauteed 'shroom burger, but when I asked our server for a side of steak sauce to put on my burger, she informed me that they didn't have any. I have had this burger numerous times, and always with steak sauce. It may sound picky, but this is a deal breaker for me. I ordered the Chili Chili Cheeseburger instead. How difficult is it to have a bottle of steak sauce on hand?“

“I can't say enough about Fumi and the wonderful experience we have had with her in June and again yesterday. My husband and I did the scallops in June and yesterday four of us did the lamb. Fumi's attention to detail and responding to all our numerous questions went way above and beyond. We purchased 10 gift certificates which we look forward to using. “Celebrated our anniversary there last night and it was such an amazing experience. Food and drinks were on point. Service was great. They heard it was an anniversary and gave us dessert with a cute little card signed by everyone. That little gesture was very sweet. Btw we had the terramisu( 😉 ) and it was divine. Highly recommend this place.“

“Frequently meet friends and have some of the best brunch in the city. Always busy but for a reason, and the service and hospitality which are already top notch, do not suffer. An example of this is when they bring you your food they remember who ordered which plate. This is one of those underrated hospitality things they do that other establishments don’t reach. “My nephew and I shared a meal here today and our experiences ranged from very good to off the scale great. We tried a Hot Mess breakfast with eggs, potatoes, chorizo,etc; it was perfectly balanced (neither to spicy or bland), super fresh; loved it. We also got a grilled cheese, with pepper jelly. The bread was the best ever (toasted perfectly) and crunchy, and it wasn't to cheesy (some places put too much cheese which makes it messy) with just enough pepper jelly to create an original experience; and one of my favorite sandwiches of my life. The salad was the low point of the meal as it was merely perfect. We also got a chocolate croissant which was great and a pot de creme which was decadent and..can I say perfect again. This is my new favorite place“

“We had a great experience with Connie’s Cakes!! We used them for our wedding on 11/1/24 and highly recommend them to anyone! We ordered a 6” cutting cake and over 300 mini cupcakes for our reception and everything was DELICIOUS!! They hosted us for a trial tasting months before our wedding, and were really accommodating when we called them a few weeks prior to increase our order. Our guests loved the bite size dessert and our cutting cake was exactly what we wanted. They even dropped our order off at our venue and included a card signed by their staff!! Will absolutely be using them for future celebrations!“

“I first dined at the Chop House 16 years ago and to this day I must say it is still the best restaurant in Grand Rapids. Food quality as well as service is above any other restaurant in the area. First class all the way, in my opinion there is no other establishment I would call on to celebrate a special occasion.“

Their craft beer selection was great. I was impressed with the complexity of a couple of the flavors.

“We purchased a variety of cheesecakes to serve for our wedding dessert. They were a huge hit. Every single flavor was sooooo good. We got so many compliments from our guests. The owner is friendly; communication was efficient and prompt. Super happy with our choice. If we ever had another event, I would absolutely order a bulk order again. “Overall, this is a great establishment. We’ve been going to this location for over 6 years and are rarely anything but delighted with the food and service. Recently, it appears that they began a pretty steep Gluten free surcharge on all of their sandwiches and pizza. It used to be a no charge (which I get was actually super generous and likely unsustainable) but now it’s swung to the highest in the area. It feels punitive to those that are excited to have some normality that you guys can offer to have to pay essentially 30+% more for bread they can eat. Your sandwiches are already on the pricey side but we always justified that by being local, being good, and being grateful. I’ve long championed you as the best option out there for somebody with gluten restrictions, and that became just a little harder to do.“

The mini dessert table was a hit, and no one is going to do it better than these folks. We highly recommend, you won’t be disappointed!“
