“We went for lunch and ended up to be an awesome decision. My friend had chicken dum Biriyani, which was wow!! It was more closer to Kolkata biriyani than Hyderabadi style. Mild spice and lot of aromas. We also tried the rice with goat curry and it was brilliant as well. The service was too good and prompt.

We heard mix reviews from our friends and family but honestly we didn't taste anything better than this place in michigan. For the buffet they had various options to choose from and the price was really affordable. We tried the best zilabi on town. My picky eater son finished everything which means it's really good. The flavours were so good, some of the very best India food we have had & we have tried a lot of Indian restaurants. I highly recommend this place. We grabbed it for take out, the portions are extremely generous enough for 2 servings each individual dish and the rice we got served us 4 servings. The naan was delicious and flavourful, not dry. The lady who served us was extremely nice & very friendly. We will definitely be repeat customers.“

Since they are renovating, we have tried two other restaurants near by and actually threw the food away from the last Indian restaurant in St Clair Shores. One of those things in which you don’t know how good something is until you have to go elsewhere.“

“I’ve been to Paan Banaras & Cafe a couple of times now, and every visit has been a great experience! Their Sweet Paan is a must-try — a traditional Indian betel leaf dessert packed with refreshing flavors and a perfect balance of sweetness. I also really enjoyed their Kashmiri Pink Chai, beautifully made with the right touch of sweetness and nuts, along with the Rose Falooda and other treats on the menu.

It’s a cozy spot right in the heart of Windsor, perfect to hang out with friends and enjoy authentic paan and unique desserts. Definitely one of the best paan cafés in the city — highly recommended!“

Good to see a fusion restaurant in warren.I see some people complaining that the chicken was dry but to tell you the truth that's an issue with a lot of Mediterranean restaurants I have been to, even the really fancy ones. Unless you tell them to cook the chicken medium rare or medium they tend to cook it well done.They can maybe add a little bit more salt to the chicken though.Their portions are not the largest but since the prices are relatively low you can always pay a little extra to have the portions increased.Let's also see if they add more items on their menu. I would love to see more fusion items. I know they are new so they probably don't want to clutter their menu with too many things right now.“

“I had a great experience dining at Athidi tonight. It’s one of the best Indian Restraunts in windsor. Tried dosa , malabari mutton curry , butter chicken and ghee roast biryani!! Everything was wel made perfect spice level and flavours . Naans were fresh and crisp. Highly recommend it .. a must try 👏“

“Great, inexpensive food in the basement of the International Institute, adjacent to the Detroit Institute of Arts and the College for Creative Studies. A family-run operation with a mix of Indian, Lebanese and U.S. American options. Servers are kind and attentive. I special-orderd chicken-curry atop a salad (to avoid the carbs in rice) and loved it. Nothing fancy, but an excellent place for a good, quick lunch.“

We have to say that their staff have always been helpful in explaining what’s in a dish and we rely on their recommendations. The flavours are incredible, and the spice level is perfect (you'll feel the heat, but it's definitely tolerable). Also, not too oily at all! Prices are reasonable. The mutton biriyani was a particularly big hit with plenty of delicious, boneless lamb in the rice. I highly recommend Biriyani & Grill the next time you're craving some delicious Pakistani eats!“

​We enjoyed a fantastic feast of authentic flavors, starting with Bhorta and comforting Daal. The Kala Bhuna was rich and tender, alongside the flavorful Chicken Karahi and Beef Tehari. We finished the perfect meal with traditional Deshi Cha. While we know there must be other Bangladeshi spots in the city and plan to explore more of their menu on our next visit!
