“While we had hoped to try Legs Inn, they were not pet friendly so we bypassed and landed at Polish Kitchen. Sometimes what we think is a disappointment turns out to be a hidden surprise! PK was VERY good and accommodating. We've been to Poland multiple times and PK's cuisine took us right back! Smacznego!”

“Is there anything better than a cold beer after skiing at Nubs Nob? Answer...No.Super friendly atmosphere with ample seating inside and out if you wish to sit outside. 90 percent skiiers/snowboarders but there seem to be a few locals that like to visit depending on the weather. Everyone there is there to have fun. You can make new acquaintances there if you like, or just chill out minding your own business.The pub requires guests to be 21 +, so leave the kids behind if you can.Bob the bartender is a great guy and a professional. He will set you up. Drinks only. No food options in the pub.Friendly hint, if possible bring a few bucks cash with you to tip. The credit card machine does not allow a person to add gratuity. I don't normally carry much cash anymore. What little I did have went into the tip jar. I will know better next time.”

“Only posting a review to promote Gabie's service. She's hostess attending the patrons during peak timing. While trying to ensure people are seated, she is bussing the tables, restocking the silverware, and informing people who have no sense of ettiquete that they need to wait their turn, professionally of course. Doesn't sound like much in writing, but she multitasked and handled the early evening crowd with ease and decorum.”

“The atmosphere is very nice. The service was very good. The food was average. Our soup was lukewarm and didn’t have a lot of taste. The whitefish was good, but not anything special.”

“After I tasted these cookies at a wedding I had to make a trip to Harbor Springs to see what other offerings they had. I enjoyed the variety when it comes to a delicious cookie. Scrumptious! Love the huge chucks of goodies they put in each. The only con about the cookie :They put them in a paper bag and by the time I got home all of them were broken. At the price they charge I expected a bit of better packaging.”

“Birch Tree Bakery recently made desserts for our wedding reception. We had brownies, chocolate chip cookies, pumpkin bars with cream cheese frosting, and lemon bars. Our guests raved about all of them, especially the lemon bars!”

“My wife and I stopped in there this morning to get some donuts for breakfast. They were super tasty and definitely could tell that they were “homemade”. Betty was super friendly at the counter. We will definitely stop by there again.”

“Great food, but most importantly, they have a separate fryer for people who are gluten free, meaning my 7 year old son could have the gluten free burger and fries he craved! I highly suggest advertising this on the find me gluten free app and the other gluten free pages as you will for sure get business from people with celiac disease and those who eat a gluten free lifestyle.”

“We have a cottage a few miles from State Road. The new owner has added so much to this favorite restaurant. The food is yummy and the way he’s configured the bar makes for a fun atmosphere. We bring guests here a lot and they love the experience. Our favorite menu items are the burgers, the broasted chicken and the new chicken sliders! So yummy!”

“Coming from a Major Food Snob- Teddy Griffin’s is 5 Stars!!! Ive been looking for good food in Indian River, Cheboygan and surrounding areas all Summer. I finally had a meal I LOVED and Raved about. We started with Lamb Lollipops- Yum! The Chicken Picatta is packed with flavor and just so darn good. Pecan Crusted Whitefish was another excellent choice and we followed it with a slice of Carrot Cake. Compliments to the Chef! We will be back!!”

“Okay, first time here. Restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere and the wait staff seems very friendly and helpful. Ordered the spinach and artichoke dip which was very tasty and the seafood Chowder was amazing. But the Walleye was tasteless. If it wasn't for the mashed potatoes and carrots you wouldn't know it was there. Daughter ordered Lobster Carbonara and it was almost tasteless and lobster was over cooked and a bit rubbery. Chef in my opinion needs to taste his creations before sending them out of the kitchen. Also please change the music, fine dining and 70s Disco/ Rock & Roll do not pair well.”
