“While we had hoped to try Legs Inn, they were not pet friendly so we bypassed and landed at Polish Kitchen. Sometimes what we think is a disappointment turns out to be a hidden surprise! PK was VERY good and accommodating. We've been to Poland multiple times and PK's cuisine took us right back! Smacznego!”

“Is there anything better than a cold beer after skiing at Nubs Nob? Answer...No.Super friendly atmosphere with ample seating inside and out if you wish to sit outside. 90 percent skiiers/snowboarders but there seem to be a few locals that like to visit depending on the weather. Everyone there is there to have fun. You can make new acquaintances there if you like, or just chill out minding your own business.The pub requires guests to be 21 +, so leave the kids behind if you can.Bob the bartender is a great guy and a professional. He will set you up. Drinks only. No food options in the pub.Friendly hint, if possible bring a few bucks cash with you to tip. The credit card machine does not allow a person to add gratuity. I don't normally carry much cash anymore. What little I did have went into the tip jar. I will know better next time.”

While trying to ensure people are seated, she is bussing the tables, restocking the silverware, and informing people who have no sense of ettiquete that they need to wait their turn, professionally of course. Doesn't sound like much in writing, but she multitasked and handled the early evening crowd with ease and decorum.”

“We have a cottage a few miles from State Road. The new owner has added so much to this favorite restaurant. The food is yummy and the way he’s configured the bar makes for a fun atmosphere. We bring guests here a lot and they love the experience. Our favorite menu items are the burgers, the broasted chicken and the new chicken sliders! So yummy!”

“Coming from a Major Food Snob- Teddy Griffin’s is 5 Stars!!! Ive been looking for good food in Indian River, Cheboygan and surrounding areas all Summer. I finally had a meal I LOVED and Raved about. We started with Lamb Lollipops- Yum! The Chicken Picatta is packed with flavor and just so darn good. Pecan Crusted Whitefish was another excellent choice and we followed it with a slice of Carrot Cake. Compliments to the Chef! We will be back!!”

“Okay, first time here. Restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere and the wait staff seems very friendly and helpful. Ordered the spinach and artichoke dip which was very tasty and the seafood Chowder was amazing. But the Walleye was tasteless. If it wasn't for the mashed potatoes and carrots you wouldn't know it was there. Daughter ordered Lobster Carbonara and it was almost tasteless and lobster was over cooked and a bit rubbery. Chef in my opinion needs to taste his creations before sending them out of the kitchen. Also please change the music, fine dining and 70s Disco/ Rock & Roll do not pair well.”
