“We stopped in for the Sunday brunch , it's a fairly small space ( but its not their regular thing ) all the food options were decent to really good , especially the waffles and pancakes. The Cajun wings were really flavorful but not too spicy and the 1 I had was very meaty !! Their coffee was good also . I'd give them an 8 - 8.5 for their effort.“

They were out of beef, but definitely gonna pop on here and there. “Oh My Gosh. went today and ordered a Meatball Sub and the Paremesan Chicken Cutlet Sub. Bought some of their lasagna and tomato basil soup. Took a bite of the Lasagna. Yummy. I was a big Ventimiglia fan, but this will be now my go to place. Wanted to get more from their prepared foods but fridge was down. Will be back again tomorrow. Definitely over 5 stars .“

“We used Papelon’s Food Truck for our Quinceanera Event with 70-80 guests. We avoided having to setup food in the venue. Even with so many hungry guest the food was made to order (Arepas, Cachapas and Tequenios) without a long wait. We had all the option of fillings on the menu!!! During peak the pagers were helpful so the guest could enjoy the party inside until the order was ready. It’s a plus if it gets a little chilly outside. At the end there was no leftover since our guest (mostly teenagers) could not stop eating. Non of the food went to waste which is amazing and showed everyone just loved the food! Service was impeccable by the friendly staff who stayed until no-one was hungry! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! P.s. Always good to try the food when popping up at the breweries in the area or at their food market in St Clair Shores!!! My personal favorites are Arepa Papelon e Arepa Reina Pepiada!“

I was expecting to grab a decent sandwich but the food was great and the service was even better. The place has a nice little nostalgic ambiance, we got our food pretty fast, and Barb was so sweet. I didnt get the chefs name, but not only did he bring out a side of corned beef for my friend to try, he saw me airing up my tires and came outside to make sure everything was ok. If you are in the area, I would definitely recommend stopping by!“

“Visited twice, once months ago and once today. Wow! What a great sub! Yeah I am not fond of a sub costing $15 like the giant italian does but wow is it worth it! I mean the staff politeness was awesome (including in store safety virus protocols)! Then the sub was over the top again. Freshest bread anywhere, perfect red tomatoes, crisp lettuce, fresh sliced meat, spices...just delicious! Again, the staff here was great! I wish I knew the name of the African American gentleman that greeted me and I think was in charge. I witnessed his door greetings to other customers and he really has that "personal touch" with people. I think I need to eat here at least 1-2 times a week for now on. My wife already told me we need to focus on them vrs the other alternative sub restaurants. I think she is right!“

“Love your sandwiches and I get them at least once a week! But so disappointed today :(. Drive to my normal location on hall and Hayes and found out they were closed for remodeling. So drove to Macomb location. I normally pay close attention while subs are made to correct issues but today I was getting pushed into paying before my subs were made. Sadly I got home and it was wrong :(. Ordered three subs total. 2 of three were not what was requested. ie wrong bread, missing mikes way dressing etc. one of the kids subs was completely smashed. it was obvious new employees were working and I’m not totally blaming them. Moving forward I will make sure I watch my sandwiches being made and wont get rushed to the register. I paid a lot for these sandwiches and expect to get what I ordered.“

“I have gotten Firehouse catered for several meetings and a very large event. Sunny and Rita are always so great and accommodating, as well as on time when I get the catering delivered. Everytime I have ordered I get outstanding service, great communication, and our staff always loves the subs. This is also one of the only places I know with gluten free bread that is actually good. Highly recommend for lunch or a catering!“
