“We love coming to Secreto, whether it’s for a date night out on the weekends, a quick stop in for some cigars from Ronnie, or happy hour during the day it’s always a great experience. I always know I’ll see familiar faces, whether it’s Meg, Heather or Ciara behind the bar, they always take care of us. I’ve never met anyone with as much knowledge as Ronnie when it comes to cigars..and if you come in on the weekends you’ll see Brian helping out on the cigar side. This lounge always has a great ambiance to it, whether it’s a full bar or just a few customers there. If you are a cigar smoker you need to check out their three humidors and the online store. Ronnie and Heather you run an amazing lounge, keep up the great work!“

“I grew up a few blocks away from this bar.
My uncle and one of my oldest friends frequented here over the years and I always wanted to visit.
I finally did and I must say they didn’t disappoint!
I’m actually mad at myself for taking so long to finally stop in.
A very welcoming crowd as well as staff was all I needed for me to determine I’ll be back.
The drinks were A1 as well as the music!

“I have 3 stars because I had to get the waitress attention after sitting at the for 20 minutes. Then it took another 15 minutes just to take my order. When the food finally came it just okay nothing to brag about. If I go back I won't order lamb chops again. The Hip Hop Bingo was fun. I enjoyed the music and dancing.“

“It was the right amout of rachet to classy that was perfect! This place is cool and unique. One half is inside and the other is outside with a big tree in thr middle giving the feel of being inside while being outside. They had lots of heaters out there also so I would imagine this place is a vibe year round“

“Stopped by on Easter Sunday because my usual places were closed. I am glad I did! Had a great experience sitting at the bar. Courtney did an excellent job with my cocktails and she was attentive and pleasant. The Caesar Salad (yes to anchovies, please!) and the Pepperoni Flatbread were just what I needed.“

“A special day. A special night. Couldn't be better. Arranged by our son and daughter. The waiter did everything, except eat our food. The wines were a delight and the steak and salmon were prepared with artistry. He guided us with each entre and the salad was shared by us with dressing aside. “B. Nektar is an absolute gem! I first tried Zombie Killer years ago at a random bar in Cleveland, then hunted it down at a liquor store near home in the Chicago/NW Indiana area. When it disappeared from shelves, I missed it every single day for about 3 years.

Now that we’ve moved to Toledo, we realized we’re just over an hour away from the taproom and I’m so glad we finally visited. The selection of beers, ciders, and meads is incredible. The vibes are super chill and fun, and the staff was so friendly and attentive. They really made the experience even better. On top of that, the taproom has a great selection of games, which made the hours fly by with friends; we didn’t even notice it was well past dinner time!

We stocked up to take home (can’t wait to share the durian one with family in Chicago), and honestly, this is the best brewery we’ve found since Phase Three back in Chicago. Nothing else has compared until B. Nektar. Can’t wait to come back!“

“Celebrated our 19 year wedding anniversary this past weekend and the service, attention to detail, food and unexpected 'extras' were top notch from the start as we were greeted with smiles at the reception desk to when we left, as the manager gave us a bottle of champagne as an anniversary appreciation! “Clean, welcoming and cold beer. You could call it a hole in the wall, but it's more than that when you step inside. Your welcomed by everyone in the bar and you'll definitely feel at home after just a few minutes...few places like this place.“

“Walked in on a Saturday night and was shocked to see the place at about 10% capacity. But start to finish, enjoyed our time here. Food was very tasty and good portions. I we were taken care of by Deon and Kayden (spelling may be off) and they checked in on us and treated us with good service. Good music playing over speakers.
I LOVE the decor! Very beautiful space. Could go for just a little bit more light to read the menu well over at the booths we sat at.

Lobster rice and short rib were so tasty! Do wish we had known it is no longer a whole lobster serviced on the rice but broken up throughout instead due to feedback about folks dealing with the shell; we saw picture in reviews and thought thats what we’d be getting.

The place got to about 25% capacity by the time we left around 9/9:30pm. Still surprising to us! Hope more people frequent here.

I think for elevated dining, service/hospitality could be a bit more elevated (providing unprompted menu suggestions, elevated staff attire, anniversary scribe plating, etc) but we did feel welcomed and checked in on well!

Happy we celebrated here. Will come back!“

“I hosted a work reception for 35 people and Whisky Parlor was the perfect choice. The appetizer menu is large and varied, and the food was delicious. The bar staff were friendly and knowledgeable and they took great care of our group. The drinks were fresh and delicious and staff were incredibly attentive to our needs.

The space itself is fantastic, with kind of a modern urban warehouse vibe, with exposed brick and great woodwork. It's spacious enough to hold a large group and it's set with several groupings of both hard and soft furniture that makes it easy to gather in smaller groups. A huge bonus is that it's a private space on the 2nd floor and it has it's own private entrance off the street.

I highly recommend Whisky Parlor for special occasions, or just a great spot to hang out with friends.“

“Louie’s was incredible! Celebrated a birthday over the weekend and had the best time! We made reservations and were sat within 2 minutes of arriving! Our server Oliver was very attentive and friendly. The timing of our food was perfectly spaced out. We started with the calamari (delicious), and both had a cup of the chicken and rice soup (so good with a bit of a kick). For main meal we had pork chops (zip sauce paired perfectly) and salmon! Generous portion sizes as the pork chops came with 2 pieces. Their signature manhattan was also good. One of the managers came over as we dined to check in and was very kind. If you’d like a more private / quiet area ask for upstairs! Downstairs was also great at the bar. Super cool looking inside. We will definitely be back, we have our eye on the key lime pie for dessert 😋“

The lounge set up along the wall, with the dance floor in the middle along with the open roof top, made for an amazing party vibe and dance atmosphere. Come with your dancing shoe.“
