“I attended drag queen bingo. AMAZING!! The servers were so kind and professional. The drag queen bingo (not your grandma's bingo as they stated) was phenominal. Kept us laughing the whole night. What amazed me was they donate 50/50 proceeds to charity. And she stated in the beginning that she would mess with prople but would not embarrass anyone. We had a wonderful time. “Really enjoyed my experience at Baobab Fare! Great vibe – was warm, welcoming and comfortable. The service was super friendly and informative. I had the samaki, the popular fish dish with sides of coconut rice, spiced rice, corn salad, beans, and plantains. It was delicious! The Ji juice was refreshing. The chicken samosa appetizer was a great starter. And the desserts were really unique – coconut mango creme, avocado passion fruit pudding, coco pudding with spiced peanuts – try them all! “Really love the pour your own beer concept. They have varied beer options and I've gotten to try a lot of beers I normally wouldn't have. I haven't tried any of the smoothies yet, but they seem quite worth it for the value. On the other end I have to say the food on the menu is quite expensive for how little quantity you get with maybe the pizza as an exception. I've tried most of the menu and the food all tasted amazing, but after I finish I can't help but feeling that i'm still really hungry after spending $9-$12 for a plate. This place could seriously benefit from just adding a burrito to the menu that even priced at $12-$14 could feed a very hungry climber like myself. I think the prices are totally reasonable just the quantity is slightly missing the mark. I just can't justify purchasing food here when I have to go home and still make dinner afterwards.“

We were visiting Detroit for the first time in February and were fortunate to find this shop a few short blocks from our hotel - Westin Book Cadillac Hotel. The shop is located on the first floor of the historic Dime building/Chrysler House. We were greeted and served by the owner- Steven. He gave great suggestions and we ended up with the Evolution smoothie and Cacao bowl w/açaí base. We also grabbed some of the energy bites to go from the case. Everything tasted so good!!! So refreshing and delicious!! It was closed today Sunday, but we will definitely return tomorrow morning before heading back to the airport. My corned beef sandwich was as good as any I have ever had and my husband said his sandwich was the best he had ever tasted. He said it was well worth the drive (we live 25 minutes away).
