“Visited Nooch for the first time today! They opened at 11:30am and Maggie immediately greeted us and let us know we could sit anywhere. I really enjoyed the look of Nooch. It had a bar and a variety of seating. A Post Malone concert was playing on the TV and it could be heard throughout the restaurant and bathroom. The restaurant was very clean and welcoming. We sat at a booth in the center of the restaurant and Maggie went over the menu with us. There are SO MANY great options it was hard to choose but I went for the Reuben with a side of fries. Maggie told us that the bread for the Reuben is made at Blak's Bakery nearby and that the corned beef is made in house! My husband ordered the Big Mock with a side of fries and gravy! We both inhaled our food, sharing it with our toddler. I *wish* I had taken photos because the presentation was not only beautiful and Instagram worthy but absolutely worth the visit. Guess you'll have to just visit and see for yourself! ;)Maggie was super sweet. She asked if we would like a plastic cup with lid and straw for our kiddo, which we appreciated. She also brought over crayons and a Jetson's coloring page. She even asked if Post Malone's language (swearing) was okay since we had our toddler with us.We had a great experience! The food portions were very large which was great since we brought our appetite. We ordered two slices of cake for the road. The bar looks like it would be fun for a night out. I love that this is an option for us that is totally worth the drive.Thank you, Maggie! It was absolute pleasure meeting you and conversing with you! Thank you for taking care of us!“

“Nice welcome as you walk in the door. Very friendly staff and the owner was even more personable. I love that she interacts with customers! Que even brought us two free samples of the Gumbo. It was good! I had the Roasted Mushroom Sandwich, it was very tasty. My husband ordered the Fish sandwich, but they mistakenly brought him the Hot Italian sandwich. Great mistake because we got to try that sandwich for free and then they brought him his original order, which my husband loved. Both of us had a side salad with Vidalia onion dressing-really good. I had the Cinnamon Roll for dessert, which was really good!“
“Came in from out of town for a conference and needed some healthy alternatives. Found this company on line , friendly service dedicated to healthy lifestyle choices. Would absolutely recommend them and plan on it when I return.Had this delivered for my seminar for work.“
“I’ve been coming to Marilyn’s at the Royal Oak Farmer’s Market every Saturday for the last three years. Everyone has taken the time to learn my name, my order, and my family. The weekend before Christmas I came to get a smoothie and they said “hey Trevor!” and pulled a stack of cards from under the register that were hand written cards to all of their best customers. I was so surprised and it meant so much to me that they 1. Know who I am and 2. Appreciate me as a customer. I love Marilyn’s!“

“Motor city Vegan, is most definitely a hidden gem. The young lady who was cooking, did her thing?. I had the double cheeseburger and my daughter had the chopped bodega burger. Delicious!!! The only downfall, the fries were greasy. However, I do recommend you place your order on line. I will most definitely go back.Vegetarian options: The burgers I ordered were delicious and seasoned well. I can't wait to get back and try more. Great job!!!!“

“I'm a regular at this place for a reason! My partner and I were looking for a good breakfast / lunch joint that had options for both of us because I'm gluten free and he is lactose intolerant. All the servers are great and Coco is especially knowledgeable about the food and possible modifications to certain dishes (try the quesadilla with Burmese tofu added! So good!). The specials are always interesting and my partner is never disappointed by the cookie of the week. Their batch brew coffee is Hyperion and better than your average diner joe. We've also never had issues getting a table, which is a huge plus considering the weekend brunch scene around Ferndale. I've never had a bad meal here and suggest you check it out even if you're not vegetarian- and get the cheeze sauce on the cosmic fries when you do!“

“I love Try It Raw. All of their creations are amazing in taste, quality, and artistry. Just simply walking in there smells so good and leaves me feeling inspired. It is also one of the only restaurants where my celiac daughter can eat. Their cheesecakes are amazing - be sure to try the key lime. Great place, highly recommend.“

“As someone who has rarely found a carbohydrate that I don't love (and has the thunder thighs to prove it), let me say that pierogi are one of my favorite foods...a love language of mine, if you will. In fact, a way to know that I've been kidnapped or am in distress is if you hear me say "Ew, I hate pierogi!"...because I've rarely met a pierogi that I've not loved.Pietrzyk Pierogi makes some of the best pierogi in the Great Lakes region, full stop. They have a fantastic selection of fillings, and all of them are delicious. By delicious, I mean that I am sad when I take a bite, because it's one less bite I have to take, and it means that I have less pierogi waiting for me.I wish I had a larger freezer at home so I could bring more packs of their pierogi home with me. Alas...“

“Best açaí bowls, ever, period! I was so sad when Lyfe closed its doors, but SO excited when the Lyfe Truck was born! They post their schedule and provide updates via social media - I follow them on Instagram to know where they'll be and when. My go to is the Peanut Butter Lovers bow with gluten free granola. Such a delicious treat - but what I love most about Lyfe is that they use only the best ingredients. The owner truly cares about health & wellness and her customers - knowing she prioritizes quality ingredients (+ how dang good these açaí bowls are!) is what keeps me coming back.“

“My Husband and I visited there today. This was our first time hearing of this place after googling it online. The burgers were AMAZING. I have eaten at many vegan restaurants and this by far was one of the best burgers that I’ve ever had. We had the Soul Survivor and they were seasoned to perfection. We will certainly be back when we’re back in Michigan.“

The staff was extremely friendly to not only me, but the other customers which I really appreciate.Very clean environment, helpful staff, and fast to get the smoothie going.I'm allergic to most nuts but they have coconut options here for me. However if you have a nut allergy, be mindful it's probably not the best location for you.I got the strawberry smoothie with a scoop of protein.Great Vegan, Gluten Free, and all around healthier options.Would and will go back ??“

“Great VEGAN food…made fresh to order…I really enjoyed the soul food dinner I had from them. The cornbread was delicious…it was moist…salty and sweet…everything you want from cornbread…I couldn’t tell it was vegan honestly. The the vegan ribs were great too. I think it was jackfruit…but I definitely wanted more.…the Mac and cheeze was very memorable…nice and creamy…noodles not soggy…seasoned perfectly.Their prices are affordable…and it’s small family owned business….“

“I bought the COVID bundle and have been primarily using the respiratory cleanse. For the first time in I have no idea how long, I slept with my mouth closed. That sounds weird to even say but I never realized that I wasn't breathing through my nose as I slept. It was some of the best rest I've gotten in as long as I can remember.“

“Cue the music: Heaven! I’m in heaven!I love this place. Every single item was delicious and the crew is so nice. I can feel the love and warmth radiating from every corner of Good Cakes and Bakes. I’m not vegan but the vegan cookie butter cake is amazing. The rum cake is astounding and I’m not being hyperbolic when I say I’ve never had a better pot pie in my life. This is what a beautiful black owned business is supposed to look like. Again, just heaven.“

“Always a great meal at Seva Detroit. My favorite item on the menu is the Tempeh Ruban with a side of yam fries.Dietary restrictions: Lots of dietary restriction friendly menu items and most dishes can be altered (think vegan cheese instead of dairy cheese)“
“I found Moor Herbs Marketplace by looking through the Yelp app while in Detroit. I was actually doing a search to find healthy food options, and when I went it I was surprised to find so much more. They have natural beauty and feminine products like African black soap, feminine wash, essential oils, herbs that work for various health conditions, they also carry crystals, etc. They sale different types of smoothies, juices, and alkaline water. They also have a refrigerator section that has vegan soups, pre-made meals, and vegan desserts (cheesecake & pie). I actually went next door and purchased the eggplant parmigiana with a side salad & they had a nice vegan chicken sandwich with a side of some type of vegan chips everything looked good and I really enjoyed the eggplant parmigiana.“

“I'm a native of Louisiana who happens to live in Kalamazoo, but when I travel this way, I have a search for vegan options, which is hard. Kalamazoo doesn't even have a lot of options to pick and choose from. I happened to find this place a while ago, and I almost lost it. The food was amazing! The vegan barbecue rib was one of my favorites, and I love you love how the greens was greatly seasoned.“

“A new - to me - Thai restaurant. It's almost noon, let's go.The building is unusual, multiple businesses with a central hall accessible from the east or west end. A small version of a mall.Six booths and two tables welcome you.Menus are under the glass top of the tables, I like that, efficient & hygienic.Decided on Massaman shrimp curry. Comes with a cup of hot and sour soup. Great starter for a February lunch.I tried joking with the person who brought my food (as I usually do) but she was not a receptive audience. The food was delicious, and a good quantity, as well. Lunch portions are between $10 & $11.00, dinners run $13 - 14.00.The vibe was a little more sterile than I prefer but it wouldn't slow me down in return thoughts at all.Vegetarian options: Typical of Asian cuisine, most entrees can be ordered vegetarian.Dietary restrictions: Ingredients are in the descriptionParking: About 15 spaces on the east side alone.Wheelchair accessibility: Plenty of room to navigate and park at tables/booths.“

“The Birria Tacos were out of this world, my first time having them and I would definitely go back. They make the best salsa I’ve ever had and it’s complimentary, I ended up ordering extra to take home. The portion sizing was perfect and I had plenty to still take home with me. The service was very polite, accommodating, and fast. Best Mexican food I’ve had in Windsor by far.“

“I got to visit Ale Mary’s this past weekend. I specifically decided to visit because of their vegan brunch options. Barry was out waiter. He gave us suggestions and remained patient as we all figured out what we would try. I tried the Vani which is essentially a chicken pita. I appreciated the portions of “Ckn” and veggies in the pita. The sandwich was a bit dry for me, I asked for honey mustard but unfortunately they don’t carry that. That’s when our waiter Barry decided he could whip up some for me. Barry made some of the best honey mustard I’ve had in a while. Barry’s efficiency, creativeness and table manners made our experience twice as nice.Vegetarian options: Vegan options were plentiful.Parking: I got lucky and found street parking. Be sure to download the app and update car information.“

“There was an hour wait, so we decided take-out was the better option, and it was. The staff were really attentive and friendly. We got the food in 15 - 20 minutes and dashed him. The pancakes were flavorful. You can taste the banana in the pancakes. The walnuts were lightly toasted and a pinch of sweet. The potatoes and tempeh bacon were seasoned well. I tend to like them a tad more crisper, but overall, they were good.“
