Over the years, we’ve celebrated countless anniversaries, birthdays, and every special moment in between at Soup Spoon. For someone who isn’t materialistic and values meaningful experiences over things, what better gift could there be than a Soup Spoon gift card? When my fiancé stopped in to pick one up, he was welcomed by a familiar, smiling face. What could have been a simple transaction turned into something much more. Not only did they take the time to warmly greet him and express genuine gratitude for our continued support, but they also listened to his story and made him feel like the most important person in the room. That kind of authentic hospitality is rare. It’s why Soup Spoon isn’t just a restaurant to us — it’s part of our story. And it’s why we’ll keep coming back for years to come.“

“I grabbed lunch from here today for the first time. All staff I encountered and the owner were super nice, there was a nice selection of hot food and snacks, the prices were reasonable, and the portions were generous. I will definitely be back again. Hopefully, I can leave early enough to stop in for breakfast before work one of these days!“

I’m not sure what these recent reviews are all about. If you’re not a fan of the price you’re always welcome to go elsewhere lol.. I find the price reasonable but everyone’s different. Anyway I love the dishes it’s very comfort food!“

“Lovely little coffee shop! I enjoy their Westside location and am so glad to have a spot on the Eastside that is more convenient for me. The space is bright and welcoming, the baristas have always been friendly and helpful, and the staff has been very accommodating of my service dog and I. They even asked and provided him with a pup cup during our last visit! (To be clear, they are not a pet friendly business and only allow service animals per the ADA.) I typically order tea, though they have a nice selection of coffees and pastries as well. My only critique is that I wish they had more cozy, lounge-type seating, since right now they have mostly desks (although with plenty of outlets for online work). We've been here a few times already since they opened the Okemos location and will continue to visit often!“
“This is my ideal place to meet up with friends or get coffee while I shop in the bookstore. It is very cozy, friendly, and convenient. The food is always good. I am so glad that this place is open following the COVID pandemic. You can also be here alone while eating and, in the meantime, reading a book or magazine.“

“Panera food is all the same usually but I asked for extra say e on my sandwich and I didn't get that. The survive was slow bur they were busy so not bad and the business building atmosphere is a strange one to be sure it's very busy so I wouldn't recommend studying but at off times if perfect I especially like the chairs by the window
Vegetarian options: The tomato soup is very good. I also like the medatranian sandwich, and the grilled cheese is always very good. If they have 10 vegetable soup, 100% get it!!! It's one of the best things they've had on their menu.“

She prepared my coffee and bagel perfectly, was professional and welcoming, and even wrote my order on paper to put on the wall so she can remember it whenever I come back. That kind of personal touch is outstanding and something I have never seen before. Truly excellent service!“
