“normally I would not recommend but everyone has a bad day. Pizza order messed up. Hubby ordered smothered chicken. they forgot the mashed potatoes and gravy. Forgot the cottage cheese. it's Friday so cut them some slack. as usual, my pizza was awesome. despite the Pepperoni on it. I don't eat pork. just picked it off. Next time I'll repeat the order 4 times instead of 3.”

“My wife and i came here for our 1-year wedding anniversary tonight. We absolutely loved it! She had the nutty trout and I, the seasonal perch, battered and fried. This place is really in the middle of nowhere - 30-45 from TC, but if you're staying at one if the resorts, campgrounds or B&Bs nearby, the Manitou is a must-visit. The food is outstanding, the service wonderful and the ambience cozy.

“We stopped in Jodi’s during our recent vacation. We walked in and were instantly greeted by a very friendly waitress. The food was awesome prices were great and we had the best service by a very personable waitress. She made us out of towners feel very welcomed. I highly recommend you stop in for their fish! “Stephanie was a pleasure to work with, as I assisted my son and daughter-in-law with their wedding cake selection. I was referred to Stephanie by another bakery from Northern Michigan who highly recommended Stephanie. We live 3 hours south in the southeastern area of Michigan, so initially it was a challenge finding a reputable baker. I must say, in addition to being delicious, Stephanie's artistry in baking was gorgeous, we received many compliments on the wedding cake and cupcakes from our guests (including our catering staff!). Right from my first call to Stephanie, she was most kind and gracious in answering all my questions and very professional. During each of our phone calls, text messages or emails, I was always created with kindness and professionalism. Her knowledge and expertise were invaluable to me! Stephanie encouraged my daughter-in-law to share her inspiration pictures. From the pictures she shared Stephanie created 100% of the cake and cupcakes designs with the jewel tone colors my daughter-in-law selected for their wedding. I ordered plenty of cupcakes to accompany the wedding cake, I only wished I had ordered more desserts for their wedding as Stephanie has so many options to offer to create an over-the-top dessert table for our guests. If I ever host an event in Northern Michigan I would whole-heartedly hire Stephanie again.”

“We (my husband and I) are out of town guests and staying at a friend’s cottage on Big Platte Lake. Your restaurant was the first place that popped up on our GPS. We are very glad we stopped! The young man at the front desk was very sweet. We ordered the Greek salads and the Mediterranean pizza. My husband and I were not disappointed :-) And to add a note to this recommendation, if someone is reading this, don't even think about commenting about ANYTHING other than how great this eatery is. I am SICK of getting replies to my recommendation from creeps that "want to be my friend."”
