“We eat at Shortys once a week. We love the specials (great smoked wings, smoke ribeye hoagie and lasagna just to name a few), excellent pizza and sandwiches. Service is speedy and friendly every time. It can be loud sometimes if it’s a full house but then other times is a quiet atmosphere.“

The fish is one of my favorites, but you really can't go wrong on the food here. Price is reasonable for what you would expect for the atmosphere. “From the moment we walked through the door we felt welcomed. We were here today for the first time and Jenny A was our server.She was so kind, sweet, helpful and had a good sense of humor and was just overall an amazing person to have (wish I could have had dinner with her as well lol)The food was delicious! “The employees and food are outstanding. I found this place when I got lost one night and it's a treasure. They really should add some sort of entertainment for dine in customers and people waiting on orders. The atmosphere is really the only thing that needs some work.“

“For a "middle of nowhere" pizza place, they literally come near the top of my favorite pizzas ever eaten. The seasoning is very flavorful, both pizza and bread sticks.I just wish they were consistently open, but I guess they have continual staffing issues. If it's not cultural driven but instead pay that is lacking, raise your pizza prices and pay more to your workers. For years I've commented to my wife how relatively low cost the food is - especially for being in the middle of nowhere and using seemingly quality ingredients. I'm sure customers would pay a little more.“

“Had a lovely bite for dinner with family. Friendly staff and great food! Ask for skull skins - Yum. (fried dough in strips with a cheese dip)We had a grinder, a pizza, cheesebuger and fries. All classic dishes perfectly presented.It was definitely one of the best burgers I've had in weeks.Nice atmosphere with amiable mix of local folks. “ordered a pineapple and ham large pizza at 5:30ish and didn't get it until 7:20pm even though it said estimated delivery at 6:35. delivery is so slow and the pizza was almost entirely cold. probably because I didn't tip woth my credit card so they didn't care. i tipped anyways with cash but if i knew the pizza was that cold i would've tipped him nothing. horrible delivery service. none if this will probably be fixed either because I don't feel like calling them. i reheated it in my oven and it was good so higher stars for this but it was such an inconvenience. they're extremely lucky for 4/5 stars.“

“A large takeout order was placed for a child's birthday party. The original order was for 3:30 pick up. After determining it would be better to pick up a little after 4:00, Marcos was called with the last-minute change of plans. Apologizing when I arrived for pick up around 4:00, the young man behind the counter (seemingly working alone) was pleasant and accommodating. I expected some pushback due to the change - there was none. He made all 10 pizzas and orders of garlic bread himself with help from a delivery driver and it was all ready at the original 3:30 pick up time. He kept it all hot and the food was well received at the party - no complaints from kids or parents. Great service and attitude! Well done!“

“I hosted a group dinner at this place on Leap Day. When I set up the reservation it was for about 25 with plans for me to call a few days out. I forgot to call but they called me back the afternoon of the event. It turned out to be such a beautiful day, 60's no snow, that 35+ showed up to my 4PM event. I called them back as promised and said there would be 35+ for the 6PM reservation, and everyone would be responsible for their own bill. By 6:15 the group had grown to over 53 guests in our party the weather made travels much better than expected.... The staff didn't bat an eye or turn us away. They sat us all and still had 1 or 2 tables open most of the time. The wait staff and Manager (Owner?) busted their butts! Everyone was talking, several of the group were walking around between tables. Food came out of the kitchen as fast as it could and for the most part was timely and hot. I didn't hear of a single error of anyone's order. In fact most complemented at how good the food was. The place was perfect for our large group. The food and service were top notch. Several of us liked it so much last night we returned the following day for another awesome meal I highly recommend this place and look forward to returning In the near future from Kalamazoo with family to meet other friends here. Thanks to the kitchen and wait staff for an awesome meal and service!!!!“

“The pizza here is some of the best around. I would say this beats lots of pizza joints. I am the kinda person who eats pizza from anywhere including party stores and gas stations. I don't discriminate against pizza, but some are better than others.“

“I ordered a large Marinos special today, and I have to say this was one of the best pizzas I've had in quite some time. They use fresh mushrooms, fresh green pepper, and fresh red onion, plus alot of cheese, and a fair amount of pepperoni, and ham. Anyone on the fence about where to order your next pizza, you owe it to yourself to try Marinos in Spring Arbor....EXCELLENT PIZZA!!!“

“Didn’t realize what I was missing all these years. Started ordering from here after moving to the west end of town and have been satisfied each time we’ve ordered. Pizza, sandwiches, stuffed bread, and turtle brownies are amongst our favs on the menu.
