“Arrived after 3pm for a snack - sooooo many wonderful choices! For our first visit to Ellen's Bakery & Cafe we had bumpy chocolate and golden buttercream (w/sprinkles) cupcakes to share. Each outstanding! The buttercream used on both was the most perfect creamy, sweet blend. And the deep chocolate coating covering the buttercream bump was our favorite. Both cupcakes were "Best in Class!" We understand that next week the Cafe will be featuring a fresh asparagus salad with a poached egg atop so we'll be back earlier in the day, and maybe for breakfast, too! Next visit, when we are heading straight home right afterwards, we'll be taking Ellen's made-in-store butter pecan ice cream with us to try. I understand it's amazing!“

“We got Amy Cakes cupcakes for our wedding last August and couldn’t be happier! The cupcakes were ready to pick up day of and were delicious. We ordered some gluten free cupcakes as well which received high reviews from the people who ate them. We couldn’t have been happier with our experience at Amy Cakes.“

“We LOVED the Reuben eggs rolls. My husband and I shared them and it was filling enough to be a meal for us. We each had a happy hour drink and so for the two of us, our total bill was $22. Not bad! We also got to sit outside by the “waterfall”. Bitter Tom’s is a great local restaurant.“

“I loved the decor when I ate there and the food was good, only issues is customer service, I called before opening around unknowingly and was told we don’t take pick up orders until 12 I called over 4 times after 12 PM and no one ever picked the phone back up. I guess you have to walk in to order which is not always convenient because you may have to wait.“

“HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! My husband (a Navy Veteran) suggested we try Buck Shots for dinner. I called to ask about Veterans Day specials, 25% off. Just before 6pm we walked in, 5 minute wait, we liked it immediately! Our waiter, Jeff, was very knowledgeable and incredibly friendly. We ordered the loaded fries, loaded tots and chicken bowl. OH MY GOODNESS, everything was delicious! We will definitely go back again!“

“My husband, in-laws and myself just got home from the wild game spotlight dinner with Chef William and Chef Alex. To say it was amazing is an understatement. The food was fantastically perfect and had all the flavors! We look forward to returning so we can try the regular menu! Thank you for allowing us to celebrate in this event with you.“
“I travel a lot for work and so I try a lot of different smoothies & recently I was in town and stopped by here to try out a smoothie - it was hands down the best smoothie I’ve ever had. Absolutely delicious and it was healthy! (It was the protein shake with espresso, I forget the exact name.) The staff was super friendly and helpful explaining their menu and what they offer. I highly recommend this place!! (The smoothie was full when I got it but I drank some of it before I remembered to take the picture lol.)“

“When I tell you this is the best food we have had!!! We have been supporting black owned businesses for the past two months every Friday and this place is the BEST we’ve had! I highly recommend her food the portions are just right and their prices are easy on your pockets ❤️ we will definitely be back! “An institution. While other places in the area have withered away to relics, this place has remained true to what it's always been. You'll get your food and remember that this is how it's supposed to look. The people who make it care about it, and want you to savor it, and just enjoy being there.It's a cafe. It's the cafe. In a desert of aging strip malls, this is an oasis.Look through your phone, find an old friend you haven't talked to in a while, and arrange to meet up here. You'll smile, hug, laugh, grab a coffee, talk, then great food, more talking, more coffee, more laughs, and you'll wonder why you don't do this more often. This is a place to feel good.“

“Tonight (10/16) I went inside at 8:45 (they close at 9) and was extremely surprised to be greeted very nicely, and taken care of so well. The two gentlemen at the front were super nice, and seemed to have no issues with how late I came in. Very impressive, and hard to find nowadays. Great store!“

“We went for our anniversary and was very satisfied. We arrived 20 minutes before our original reservation time & was still seated. We ordered catfish meal for an appetizer and it was delicious. We ordered a few drinks which was also tasty ?. Lastly we ordered the Trilogy(crab legs) and Steak dinner. Everything was very good and we're definitely looking forward to returning.Our waitress was Sandy& she was very attentive to us. Oh and we did see the man on the commercial ?“
