“This review is based mainly on my personal preferences. I got fried chicken breast, mashed potatoes, collards, dressing, gravy and cornbread. The chicken breast was delicious, but overcooked and dry. Potatoes and gravy were fine. The dressing had good flavor but I didn’t care for the consistency. The collards were good except they were too salty. The cornbread was very good. I will order again and try other offerings.“

“I came here to leave a good review because they deserve it! Well I'm not the only one! 5 stars for these guys! I met the owner somewhere I think home depot and he recommended I stop by for food . So one day I did. They are the best downriver . Nobody touches their s*** lol... went there today and found out they are closed on Monday and Tuesday . “Always pleasant at SR. Did a To-Go order this time. The chicken gravy on the carved turkey dinner was delicious. The green beans were similar to fresh. Probably the steam type in a bag that is long, not a can version. My potato skins were delicious as usual. The Club was very good as usual but needed to add mayo or other of your choice when we got it home. I enjoyed my tuna salad croissant in-house more than the one I had this time. I prefer not leaf lettuce for next time. The coleslaw was okay. I wouldn't get it again but that is my choice. Hubby added pepper and some other stuff to his to make it taste better. We love this restaurant and have been going there for at least 7 years now. Friendly waitstaff and other staff. Mike has a great place to keep it alive. Lots of menu choices. Always busy during peak times. Only wish they could expand and even have a banquet room on site. Parking is always so full and if the parking lot is full, usually means the restaurant is full or you may have a few minute wait. Booths need a little more room for the larger folks that come. There are only a couple of tables with chairs so some groups have to wait a little longer to be seated at them. If you can be fitted at a booth, they are a little tight for larger folks. They can take the wall partition down in the center to seat a larger group in two booths if needed.“

“I ordered the new menu item steak and onion dinner. It came with mashed potatoes w gravy and broccoli with a side of banana nut bread. My drink was a strawberry lemonade. I was seated right away and my food took only 15 minutes at most. The dinner and drink have lots of flavor. The banana nut bread was a little too moist. I will go back again.“

“It was my first time visiting Tim’s Coney Island in Southfield this past Saturday with my kids and our church youth group, about a dozen of us in total. The food was absolutely delicious, the portions were great, and the prices were very reasonable—our bill came out to about $10 each. The staff was friendly and accommodating, making our experience even better. We all left satisfied, and I can honestly say this will not be our last visit. Definitely looking forward to going back soon!“

“This is the first time that I've had breakfast here. I had the breakfast special. My daughter had the meat lovers griddle. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. They was no wait for a seat. Our waitress brought us water and coffee immediately. She took our orders promptly. The food came to the table in just a few minutes. Our coffees were never empty. They do a great job here.“

“This place gets an A++, the food was so good, no expensive at all. There was a line but it went fast and the hostesses kept us informed on how much time of wait we had. The food was so good, they have this strawberry lemonade that is the die for, sweet when it needs to be and a little tart at the end. Our waitress CK was super friendly and her service was AWESOME.
