“Today November 5, 2023 I visited Moe’s fish and chicken of Wayne Michigan. First let me start by saying the food is delicious and cooked to perfection. The customer service is top-tier, and the owner gave me a tour of the place from the walk in refrigerator to the completely Organized back store. This establishment is immaculate. The owner is very passionate about the quality of food that he feeds the community. He knows good food. Y’all better run and not walk, to go get you some.Signed M&M?❤️???“

“Great music. Great vibes. Great menu. Great prices. Great staff. Owner introduced himself and made us feel very welcome. This was my partner's 1st time out since Covid started in Dec 2019 and our 1st time back here since the new owner took over. We were both happy and impressed with the changes. Losing the center and front booths really opened it up and makes it way less claustrophobic feeling. Music was good and people were coming in. The burger I ordered was perfectly burnt around the edges and juicy. The waffle fries are delicious. He got the haddock with okra. Flaky, flavorful and crunchy fried, 2 large pieces and the tartar sauce was creamy and good. Okra was fresh and tasty. Can't wait to return. Wish I'd caught the owner's name. He was very kind. The waitress was wonderful as well.“

“It was my first time getting captain Jay's. I got the cod combo. Fries are amazing, fish was nicely cooked and I liked the coleslaw. I felt like their menu was a little confusing (at the drive thru). I got the fish with the lemon pepper seasoning, which had nice flavor but was so powdery on top of the fish that I don't think I could recommend it or get it again.“

“Have been looking for a good halal fried chicken place and am sooooo happy to have found this one. We ordered from here for the first time for a birthday party and received endless compliments on how good the food was. The chicken was crispy and the breaded shrimp was a hit. 10/10. “The food was so good my first time trying chicken is bomb the young lady who took the order was kinda rushing and you could barely get out what you want because she rushes you so the service to me wasn't great but the chicken is sooo good i will be back for the food but i hope the service is a little better.“

“Stumbled across this spot & I must say I’m impressed! Not that far from my place of business, this will be my go to place for lunch. The food is not expensive at all, it’s fresh, you can buy to take home and fry or they prepare it. They have a vast menu to choose from, I got the 2 piece of Orange roughy, with 10 jumbo shrimp and fries, very nice portion for $16 You must try here“

“Their jumbo fried shrimp is the BESTEST I don't like fried shrimp from any place else! It's best to call and order ahead. The menu is online if you use Yelp! You can have them add seasoning when you pick it up. Lemon pepper or Cajun. It so delicious I don't even use sauce . I feel like Homer Simpson drooling just thinking about it.“

“The best fish and shrimp in the Metro Detroit area. The serving portions are truly great. I drive all the way from Riverview, MI to get this treat. I remember years ago this place would have a line of cars wrapped around the corner. I think the person who own this place passed away and it was closed for awhile. I think the family decided to reopen. I'm so very glad they did. Much success to Waves. ??Parking: Street parking. Have to be careful due to the main street of Grand River has heavy traffic. I can deal with the traffic because the food is well worth it.“

“The fish was good though they were smaller than usual. Everything was well seasoned. The sides are odd. The coleslaw I do not recommend because it was DRY! The macaroni salad was ok and the spaghetti was spicy. I really like the shrimp and well as the chicken wings. Very good. I don't like koolaid but for some strange reason their koolaid was pretty good. I got the tropical punch. The inside was clean & neat which is a PLUS!“

“So yummy!! I got shrimp, mushrooms & hush puppies. They have seasoning you can sprinkle on too. When I went there were a few orders ahead of me but I was able to get my order pretty quickly. The guys working were pretty fast and great at communicating with everyone what was going on.“
