“This review is based mainly on my personal preferences. I got fried chicken breast, mashed potatoes, collards, dressing, gravy and cornbread. The chicken breast was delicious, but overcooked and dry. Potatoes and gravy were fine. The dressing had good flavor but I didn’t care for the consistency. The collards were good except they were too salty. The cornbread was very good. I will order again and try other offerings.“

“I recommend the chicken, ribs, yams and Mac…. Even the koolaid was freaking amazing! I’m a very indecisive person and when I walked in, I couldn’t choose, so I just ordered everything I knew I’d eventually eat. One rib dinner is def enough for two meals. The wing dings were amazing too! And it travels well. Lord knows that delivery man was very easy on the eyes! Fast, fresh, friendly, SEASONED, authentic food for the soul! Perfect way to end a spa day!“

The turkey meatloaf boasted a delightful balance of savory flavors with a hint of sweetness that left me wanting more. The greens were fresh and vibrant, and the rice and peas were a hearty, comforting side dish. The presentation was as impressive as the taste—my dish was thoughtfully plated, reflecting the care and attention put into every detail. “Tighten up in the peach cobbler...too much juice, where's the crust. Chicken wings best in Detroit. Im satisfy with customer service completely. The peach cobbler is very delicious..Keia accommodated me for the delicious freshly made greens for the delicious mac n cheese. Thanks you for being a special place to eat in our neighborhood. 😃 😊“

“I was laying in bed and started googling soul food near me. This place popped up and it was only 5 minutes from my house. I called and placed my order.
When I got there my food was ready and the service was good.
Now when I got home and tasted the food I was shook. I don’t find good soul food too often here in Detroit and this spot served me up just right

“Everything was AMAZING!!!! I GOT the porkchop dinner with macaroni, collard greens, and yam on the side with a cornbread muffin... everything was seasoned to the T ... The porkchops were so big and juicy and the greens were ? that Mac and cheese was so cheesy lol.. For my 1st time me and my fiance were very very pleased... He got the Rib tip dinner which was tender with the same sides ... it was definitely a 10/10 and I will be going back and recommending people. The service was a plus the young ladies handled us with good customer service. Thank you so much“

“Came from Ohio to get nails done and went to the location on grand River. When I say the customer service was amazing!! Food was amazing!! I’ll definitely be returning real soon!!
