“This is a no frills place with deep history, and that is all you should need. This was my first pasty and I am a believer now in meat pies. What better month than October to enjoy one of these beautifully simple mixtures of meat, potatoes, and onions. I am now out of state, but dying to try the rutabaga frozen variants. It comes very hot, so don't be in any rush to enjoy this perfect portion. It is no surprise these kept people going for hours on end in the worst of conditions. It is simply all you need...maybe a bit of black pepper. ?“

“Awesomeness All the Way Around! My first experience at a Rigoni's Friday Fish Fry. Way to have it down! Thanks for an awesome dining experience... Besides the deep fried haddock being good with excellent crispy batter, I enjoyed the option to have two deep fried shrimp with the two haddock fillets. The coleslaw was mighty tasty, the tartar sauce & cocktail sauce were both awesome. I regret not having ordered a mixed drink but how could you go wrong with an ice cold Coors with your fish. Thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the price made it even better.“

“The salad they serve before entre is a meal in itself. Very impressive if you're a salad person like me. Their food is good! Breakfast ends like at 11:00 and busy, as very few restaurants in Ironwood serve breakfast. I was given a complementary piece of cake made by the owner who is a Baker. Waitress has been there a long time and is very friendly & competent. I'd definitely go back just to try one of their wraps@“

“The new owners seem to know what they are doing. We were in a bit of a rush tonight and the food took longer than we expected BUT I can easily say that's one of the best burgers I have ever had. I don't know what they do to the fries but I am going to have dreams about them I swear. They traded into a smaller menu for slightly more expense and they have absolutely nailed it.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free buns were amazing!“

“First time and I was hooked! It was obvious that they were short staffed for the day and the register had gone down. The waitress, Angeliqe was still smiling and on cue. The kitchen staff out out beautiful and delicious plates. The owner was even working alongside the staff, which shows true dedication to business. We ordered apple fritter French toast and chili cheese burger. Pics attached. Highly recommend!!“

“This is the feeling I get when I think of comfort foods and old diners. The meal was delicious- the owner/waitress/cook was attentive and friendly - real ice cream was available- she really was patient and kind with regulars that seem to be used to over-asking and yet she still delivered. Will come back. Really a neat place.“

“Rigoni's Bakery is home to a perfect UP pasty and so many chewy, tender, sweet cookies! Breads look incredible and the specialty pastry items like the bear claw are Yupper style. The pasty is filling and hot. Potatoes, beef and onion are wrapped in a warm, browned blanket of baked flour-love. are almost always hot and ready. You can order frozen ones with other ingredients, including the beloved rutabaga! The decor is a simple small town bakery with staff that smiled for miles! Stop in a get something they make sweet or Pasty! Great selection of regular sodas and specialty flavors! Thanks for the smiles and great lunch!“
