“Nice café. Good food value for the price. I had the veggie omlette w added bacon crumble. It was huge! Ate Half. Loved that the owner/chef sautéed the veggies before putting into the omlette. It was perfect. My husband enjoyed his Eggs, Ham and hash browns too.“

“Went to Bigpowderhorn for skiing for a day. After a tiring session, enjoyed a really good luch and a break time here. I ordered cruchy carnita pork sandwich, it was perfectly cooked melting meat and well seasoned. They also have two KBC beers on tap, so being from Houghton that's always a good thing!“

“This place matches my imagination for a pastie shop. Love it from the simple packaging to the friendly down to earth small town charm. Next time I will eat at the counter instead of devouring a traditional pastie while headed south on Highway 51 to land of no pasties. Was surprised to see hard rolls there, since that had previously been a local Sheboygan, WI specialty. Be advised it is cash only BUT there is a no-fee ATM about a block away at Kwik Trip.“

Then boom, all of a sudden ironwood is on the map with a top tier restaurant and us locals can’t get in anymore. … Maybe I shouldn’t write that into existence though because I’d be super sad if I couldn’t sit down for a prime rib again. So food critics, please stay away and let us have this. :) All jokes aside, I did have the best prime rib of my life. I love that it’s a reservation system, giving a sense of eliteness but still providing a small town, homey, comfortable dining experience when you sit down. It’s quiet, perfect for a date night or a special occasion. This will be our go-to in the future! Thank you for a great meal!“
