“A couple of blocks off the beaten path you'll find this nice establishment. Pizza fries are great, prices are nice. Newer remodel renders a great atmosphere and they have a killer modern juke box. Owner and staff are very pleasant. Highly recommend you check out the Brite Spot Tap Room!! Locally known as Brite Spot 1.“
“My husband and I took an impromptu trip to explore some amazing trails/waterfalls. We decided to stop for a burger and stumbled upon the Iron Horse Saloon. The food was INCREDIBLE! I’d drive an hour and a half just to eat here. The prices, drinks, atmosphere and service were great. We will be back.“
“Not sure if they serve food here but someone brought in some buns and slow cooked sloppies. Mustard pretzels accompany your beer. Old 1920's era establishment with much of the same decor. Two guys are jamming on guitar and piano in the pool room. Both are quite good. This place is supposed to be haunted but I haven't been so lucky to witness anything paranormal.“
“Randomly stopped here on a UTV trip. Awesome bar with great new owners that just bought it, and locals, that go out of their way with service, help on finding the good trails, drinks, and a ton of laughs!! Will go out of our way to make it back here on whatever toys we are riding up here. Can't say enough good things about em!“
“Came up for skiing and tubing with the entire family and ate here on the first night. It was fish fry Friday and we ordered 2 of the fresh Lake Superior white fish (1 grilled, 1 fried), 1 order of stuffed shrimp, and 1 order of jumbo shrimp. We couldn't have been more pleased with the taste and portions - and everything was fairly priced. Since we loved it as much as the kids, we came back the next night for pizza and wings. A few locals had told us previously that Spider's wings were the best you'll ever eat - and they were correct! They must have 20 options of sauces and rubs, but we went with the simple honey BBQ with ranch on the side and the entire family devoured them. The HUGE hand-made pizza (you can watch them through the dining area window) was truly 5-star. We have eaten pizza at 3 other places in the area and this is our new favorite.“
“If you ever drive north of Minoqua ever...find your way to Nora's in Hurley. By far the most amazing place you could stumble upon. Mike is your long lost best friend with a beautiful soul and giant heart. In the summer he has a little hidden beer garden in the back. Part of the ambiance is that its in the middle of nowhere, WI but I so badly want to translant him and this place to lake country in SE WI.“
“This is such a a cute little corner bar! Passing through town and stopped for lunch. Got a western burger, jalapeno poppers and deep fried broccoli and cheese! The manager that helped us was a delight! Great personality and I will be coming back again!!“
