We just stopped by there with my husband to watch a UEFA champions league soccer game which is quite far from American interest; but everybody was happy to put the game for us and discuss with us the whole time. Mikkie even paid us a round of beers. We had a lovely time and a great local experience ! Highly recommended !“
“Such a cute cozy spot, perfect after a day of skiing. We both had the Friday fish fry, I had the grilled whitefish (we were told it comes from lake Superior weekly and it was delicious), my husband had the fried cod. Both were great. He also had the pine ones which are these delightful fried mash potato balls, so good! Prices were really reasonable and the portions were big. The older couple who I assume were the owners were both very kind and made us feel welcome.“
“The Spinning Spur is a laid-back, welcoming, wonderful bar! We were up from Milwaukee for a couple of days skiing and stopped in Bessemer for a drink. Steph was so friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere so enjoyable, we came back the next night for another round!“
