“I get to Mercer a few times a year, and when visiting this quaint little town a trip to Heart of the North is a must. The food is amazing! The Seafood Bake, Prime Rib and Lobster and Mac & Cheese are phenomenal. Our service has always been great, drinks are wonderful and we love the entertainment! Heart of the North is a real gem!“

“There may be larger salad bars, but there are none better. Tonight I enjoyed an onion salad, a perfectly seasoned tomato salad, and delicious pickled peppers. The service was excellent. The personal experience of enjoying the evening with quality service staff and fun owners, is very hard to beat.“

“We stopped in on the Saturday before St Patrick's Day. It is such a cute place. The bartender was very friendly. Great drink! They had a guy playing music. He was excellent!
