“We will always stop here when heading up the shore line and on the way back. The drinks are always amazing and the sandwiches are so filling. The layout of the place is amazing. You can sit downstairs and view the ice heaves in the winter (or the waves in warmer temps) or sit upstairs and see for miles. We’ve met a very interesting fellow here once and it was such a comfortable place to hear him talk about his life over coffee. We were in the upstairs room with the glass all around. Honestly, one conversation and coffee I won’t forget.Those who are staying in the Inn portion are lucky to have coffee right downstairs. Hopefully one day, my fiancé and I are able to stay here for a couple of days and just sip on coffee & people watch!Parking: Lots of parking! We travel with our travel trailer and it was a breeze parking!“
“Excellent Burgers!!! Combo appetizer of chicken strips, onion rings, and krinkle cut fries was the best. Onion rings are perfect... lightly battered & soft (not rock hard like fast food joints). Has a small salad bar. Many other menu choices looked delicious. People were very friendly, courteous, and just all around nice.“
“In my opinion, the Neighborly Bar is the best choice for a few sociables while in the area. I've been one of their customers for over 45 years. The atmosphere is awesome. They host many local events throughout the year. Check them out.“
“Just passing through. Stopped for late dinner. Was very busy. Was offered a seat at one of the bars. Our drinks arrived as fast as we could make up our minds. Food order taken and delivered very quickly. Whitefish was awesome!Bar tenders were happy and efficient.Parking: Tons of free options within 200 yards of front door.“
“Nice country bar friendly staff and good restrooms. In the summer they have a party for the owners birthday that's always fun. I live near by so it's always fun to go see my neighbors. Although it's mostly older people not much for the 20 some year olds.“
