“The Chad burger! OMG! My dad is from Hurley and tries to get up there to visit and for reunion stuff every summer. I've been with them the past few years and once I discovered this burger I've insisted on going back each summer when we're there. Not sure we'll get up there this year with age/health issues with my parents now, but it's my go to for next time - whenever that will be!“
“We ordered 2 of the chicken tenders baskets with drinks and 3 chicken tender kids meals. In our basket meals there were 6 crunchy chicken tenders, lots of hot and fresh fries, along with slices of buttered toast with gravy and Hidden Valley ranch on the side for dipping! I tried a chicken tender in the gravy, and oh-my, it was delicious! We were very pleased with choosing to order at the window at this location!“
“Such a cute cozy spot, perfect after a day of skiing. We both had the Friday fish fry, I had the grilled whitefish (we were told it comes from lake Superior weekly and it was delicious), my husband had the fried cod. Both were great. He also had the pine ones which are these delightful fried mash potato balls, so good! Prices were really reasonable and the portions were big. The older couple who I assume were the owners were both very kind and made us feel welcome.“
“Overall the food tasted pretty good. However, when my tray was brought to me, my blizzard fell off the tray and landed on my shirt as it was handed to me. The employee proceeded to walk away. I was left with my shirt covered in icecream. The blizzard cups need to be in a tray of some sort, because the tall cups are top heavy and slip easily on the surface of the tray.“
“We are traveling through, spending the night tonight, here in Ironwood. Decided to eat dinner here and we were so pleased!! I had a Pumpkin infused alfredo dish with chicken and cranberries, one of the best pasta dishes I've had! My husband had the whitefish and the bread that was served with our meal had a cinnamon/vanilla crunch on the crust, was a delight! Local folks, this place is a gem! Our server was efficient, including the fact that she had a very large group in the other room. I can't say enough good things about our experience!“
“My husband and I took an impromptu trip to explore some amazing trails/waterfalls. We decided to stop for a burger and stumbled upon the Iron Horse Saloon. The food was INCREDIBLE! I’d drive an hour and a half just to eat here. The prices, drinks, atmosphere and service were great. We will be back.“
