I have been eating at Huapei for almost 40 years, through two generations of owners. While the building is plain and lacking in decorations, the food is the best Chinese cuisine in the Lansing area. The current owners make people feel like family. I have yet to try the sizzling rice soup, which I hear is very popular, but I can never turn down their wonderful hot and sour soup. I don’t know how about his place isn’t more popular. I’ve lived in or around Lansing for the past decade and no one has brought it up. The egg rolls are always fresh and the portions are good. Give this place a try, I know I was t disappointed.Btw, I added the food to a plate at home. You get a lot more than the picture shows lol.

My first time visiting this establishment.... If you're a Lansing resident please go !!! Beef & broccoli was awesome ?. Hot & Sour soup was FANTASTIC ?Crab Rangoon amazing ? And the pork egg rolls were delicious ? !!!!! Thank you , will definitely be back
