It took a long time to get food after ordering it. Would not see our server for 10 minutes or longer. Other tables were sending their food back multiple times.The gyro had a good flavor.
Before you read this review, please note I have a Masters Degree in Coney Islands. I am an "expert".The coneys were very good. The coney sauce, a Detroit, was very good with a hint of spice. They had a natural casing hot dog. They used the far superior Koegel hot dog, but it seemed off, perhaps it's how they cooked it. ??♂️ They did not offer Flint Coneys that I saw, which is good because that isn't a coney (please refer to my Masters thesis on Flint "Coneys"). We’ve been twice this week. Just learned they were open. Food was great. Servers are top-notch. 2 TVs neither of which was turned to MSU game, although they may not have been televised. We really like the place. Just wish they had a good spot for a larger group. Wanted to bring our family of 8 but not have to split into booths.
