“This place has the best beans around. Keep in mind this is not like a typical coffee “shop”. There is very little indoor seating, the hours are rather inconvenient, and they do not offer any food items or flavors for their coffee. However, they are some of the best roasters in the area. Plus, you can order a drink made with any of their beans so you can try before you buy. Would definitely recommend purchasing from here“

“I know this is a chain, but here in the greater DET area, we don't get many of the typical Asian amenities (it's changing for sure!). Tried the matcha float and the matcha latte, and they were both delicious fares. With its claw machines and chalk wall, it's a nicely interactive space. Service was good and it didn't take too long to get our orders. Solid establishment!“
“This place is everything I want in a donut shop. Feels like it's been here forever, KINDEST folks behind the counter, TONS of donuts to choose from, and super, super low prices. The donuts themselves were just right, and the apple fritter was perfect. The outside had a little crunch at the edges and the insides were soft and flavorful. The glaze wasn't too heavy, and it balanced very well with the other flavors of the fritter. I am definitely keeping this shop on my shortlist of places to frequent because they are a DELIGHT and their donuts are stellar.“
“Such a beautiful atmosphere with a good amount of seating including some comfy chairs. Friendly service and delicious food and beverage. The Dexter Delight is dangerously delicious! It's an egg and cheese on a warm donut. There's the option to add bacon or sausage. Definitely a must try! The Cup of Gold was also great. I live in the area and appreciate the free wifi as a place to do some work outside of home. They also have some games for use including a tic tac toe board and a couple chess boards which is a thoughtful touch. Great way to support local business ☺️❤️“

“Loved the ambience of the coffee shop. Ordered the regular latte and Detroit fog one of their signature drinks . Initially was skeptical about ordering the Detroit fog since it contained cinnamon sprinkles but turned out be the best drink of choice for the evening . Nice place to work on the projects or assignments. Great service and overall would totally recommend it“

“Great coffee place! Probably the best one in the city of Clawson and nearby areas. Taste of lattes is always on top, service is friendly and fast! and the ambiance is great! Highly recommend trying the hot lattes with an extra shot of espresso, as they usually have a free extra shot on Friday, that is a great way to get the day going!“

“Super cute little cafe. It’s out the way. Plenty of seating safe. I sat by the window so I could take some time from my electronics and just watch the cars drive by. I have a vanilla chai latte and it was really good. I had a bagel with the cream cheese inside, I wish it had more cream cheese but other than that it was good. If I’m in the area, I’d definitely go back. Especially in the summer.“

“What an amazing bakery! I just moved to Michigan and I'm thrilled to have found this treasure. Tiramisu was prefect. Venetian Delight impeccable. Dulce Split amazing. Cookies and cream shake was delicious. Some of the best carrot cake I've ever had. “Every location is fantastic, but shout out to the busy yet patient employees at the Ferndale location today who pulled a combined 40 oz of espresso for me and the woman in front of me who are making tiramisu for Christmas. The coffee is always fantastic, and it's a great place to chill and do some work, too, especially the West Village and Jefferson Greenway locations (I assume the Midtown spot, too, but I haven't been in yet).“

Specifically, the individual with the turquoise hair deserves a 21-gun salute. God, country, Starbucks. The mobile order in Bloomfield Hills was out of control this morning. I can only imagine the trials and tribulations these employees go through to not throw hands at two dozen middle-aged white women barking at them about a chilled beverage. They have damn near as much mental discipline as David Goggin himself to hand these women an oat milk latte with their tone of voice. Their commitment to customer service is insane; could you imagine pretending to have a good attitude while you bust your ass making a five-coffee order for a golfer in pastel? “Okay, today we had some of the best ice cream I've had in a long time. we're talking about three ingredients homemade and absolutely delicious. This isn't your typical ice cream. This stuff is made with love and a lot of skill. I'd highly recommend stopping in grabbing one of the delicious flavors they make and enjoying the beautiful trip to heaven. Luckily, I found The Office Coffee Shop which has all three.The Office is the furthest shop from me. Every day I wake up and pass my corner coffee shop, Starbucks, and two more local coffee spots to get to The Office where I'm certain I'll get quality coffee from a friendly and funny staff. It's always worth the trip.“
“I had been going to Birmingham Roast for years before Royal Oak Roast opened, and it is just as amazing as the original. Drinks are incredible (though the “Joy” drinks are pretty sweet, I always order half sweet), the breakfast burrito is a must try, as is the açaí bowl. They constantly have new “seasonal” menu items which is great for regulars to get something new to try. This will forever be my favorite coffee shop in the metro Detroit area!!“

“Loved the selection of international coffees. I had the Vietnamese coffee and my husband ordered the Korean dalgona. We also ordered the taiyaki in Nutella and cheese. The taiyaki were made to order and perfectly chewy with a crisp shell. While we waited for everything , the kids enjoyed the chalkboard wall and playing with the arcade games. “We had a delicious lunch at Capital Grille today. The restaurant is beautiful as well as cozy. The food is excellent and the service is outstanding, special attention is given to every detail. I had their special Cobb Salad with beef tips and my husband had the Cheese burger since it was just after noon. Our server was Ashley who attended to every detail in making our meal most enjoyable. I had a little left over so she carefully packed it for me. Hope to see her again there. We are looking forward to returning to try some other entrees soon. Perfect outing for a winter day.“

“A friend of mine works here and she knows her stuff, but if you know me I am a straight shooter and will say how it is. This place is legit. I typically have trouble from time to time with some places that do not have decaffeinated coffee, and really appreciate that this place does. The decaf skim merry mint latte was so good something about it that made it stand out. I can't pin point it but when I drank it at first sip I said to myself this is really good. I would have another one of these. Maybe next time I can have a proper catch up with my friend and indulge with some pastries in addition to the coffee of course.“
