“The Winter Melon Milk Tea was surprisingly refreshing! The winter melon flavor was clean and light, with just the right balance of tea and milk, not overly sweet, and the boba had a great texture. I also loved that they use sturdy, high quality cups instead of the typical flimsy plastic ones. Great attention to detail, I’ll definitely be back!“

“Absolutely stellar in almost every way. Two things to tweak: today it's maybe 60 degrees, and they just turned the AC on, so it's pretty chilly in here. They also need to modify their playlist; most people are here to work or study, and the music can be a little energetic, heavy bass, loud vocals for that purpose. I have earplugs in and still find it pretty distracting.“

They have so many optioms for food if one doesnt like something as traditional as a red bean donut. Everyone ive gone with has found something they like there. There is always a diverse crowd there. “I’ve been here a couple of times and I love the atmosphere and pastries, but as a fellow barista, today the customer service was poor..I politely asked if I could have my drink hot instead because it was served iced (16 oz). No fault there, I did not mention it and the young lady at the register did not ask either. But when I got my hot drink from the barista, it was a small cup.. she walked over, sat it on my table and didn’t say anything. I understand they had to redial espresso and she may have been backed up a drink or two.. but giving me a small cup felt like a statement when the iced drinks are large.. I didn’t feel like dealing with another change so I let it be. It just left a poor taste in my mouth because I was very nice and completely fine with waiting for my coffee and was not rude about asking for my drink to be hot. If anyone’s gonna be upset with anyone, reiterate to your coworker to make sure they know if the customer wants an iced or hot drink, but don’t have an attitude with me and make me feel like I inconvenienced you.. I’m paying for a drink, you are literally getting paid to do your role and responsibilities.“

What was even better was that this Black-owned shop delivered in good service and outstanding quality and great varieties of coffee and teas! I had the delicious salted caramel latte!! And the best part was LITERALLY THE BEST BREAKFAST SANDWICH I have ever had at a coffee shop!! I had the turkey and cheese deluxe sandwich with their house sauce and Swiss cheese! “We had a wonderful breakfast at Galata Turkish Cuisine in Sterling Heights! Everything was fresh, delicious, and full of authentic Turkish flavors. The breakfast spread was generous and had a great variety of traditional Turkish dishes. The service was friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere was warm and comfortable.

It's decorated beautifully and has a gorgeous separate room where you can have your coffee and bring your dog. They also have an event space. I ordered the butter pecan latte and it's fantastic. My husband ordered the light roast with butter pecan and oat milk. Creamy and delicious. The barrista was friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming. Prices are more than fair.
