My (now) fiance and I spent 2 days here as I fretted over my proposal. The staff and folks involved with the Inn made this the best stay ever. The rooms were amazing, comfy, and well maintained. The dinner was beautiful, they took care of us and were so thoughtful . We will be back!
What a lovely dinner overlooking the water. Craft cocktails, good wines by glass. The food was seasonal, local and expertly prepared. I may tell you our favorites, but the menu changes often with availability. We loved the Johnny cakes with sour cream and trout roe, the grilled shishito peppers with crumbled bacon and a hot cheese dip sauce, local asparagus, the mussels and halibut, and don’t skip the focaccia.
We had our daughter’s wedding at The Riverside this past weekend! Everything was perfection! The food was absolutely amazing and the staff so caring , helpful and professional. They all contributed to making our weekend the most memorable and special weekend for our family. I couldn’t recommend a better, more beautiful venue and restaurant in Northern Michigan. The Riverside is permanently engraved on all of our hearts ♥️ Katie Belanger
