We had a very nice prime rib dinner. The shrimp cocktail appetizer and beef vegetable soup was delicious as well. They also have a nice dessert selection. The staff were very friendly and attentive.
Went here for lunch one of the days we visited the island and was really happy with the quality of the service and the food we got here. Prices were better than anywhere else we could find, and with it being off the main street it was a bit quieter than some of the other spots on the island which was VERY welcome after being trapped in crowds all morning long. If we ever find ourselves back on the island we know where we're going!
Overall so-so place. The fish was good, some other dishes were not great. Service is regular level, very far from top rated places. Not expensive restaurant I would say, so you get what you pay for. After riding a bike around Mackinac you do not really care and go to the first available spot)) but definitely NO if a nice night restaurant is desirable. The plates and utensils are old and low level. The staff do what they are able to do to make it a nice experience though
