“This place has four cases of about twenty different flavors of ice cream. It could be bad if you’re indecisive… but you’ll definitely find at least one flavor to love! They had blue moon, plus “blue play dough” — a unique combo of blue moon with sugar cookie pieces. PLUS a Superman waffle cone to put it in!? SO COOL. We will definitely be stopping by here every time we are near the area 😍 HIGHLY RECOMMEND!“

“Our favorite ice cream to stop at when we are in the UP! The red double decker bus makes for a fun experience, along with the wide variety of ice cream choices. Their hard scoop ice cream is so good and so many flavors to choose from! Lots of outdoor seating, and right by the lake shore, perfect for a peaceful evening.“

“Came here in 2025. Had a brownie sundae and a root beer. The sundae and root beer were delicious, but the price ($23) was pure highway robbery. Sadly, that describes just about everything on this tourist trap island. Would come here again, but only on someone else's tab...“
“We were up visiting as we celebrated our youngest daughters adoption day. Sanders was kind enough to personalize a cake for us and surprised our girl with a personalized cookie too! Such kind people with delicious goodies!“

“My finance and I stopped in Kilwins and was immediately greeted by a female employee who offered to let us try some samples and explained their deals going on. We looked around for a few minutes and were greeted by the store Manager Jesse who was absolutely amazing letting us try some samples of ice cream.
I after grabbing a small cup of ice cream walked out with my fiance. The ice cream tasted so amazing I had to come back for another scoop. Jesse was there again to greet us as we walked in and immediately helped us again with more chocolate before we walked out. I went through all the chocolate shops in the town and Kilwins was the only place that felt so friendly all the employees there were so great and helpful if I could give more stars I would. We will definitely be back.“
