“VESTAVIA HILLS, AL LOCATION: I have been excited to tell yall about this place man (video review coming soon)! I got the chance to go to the grand opening of Dave's Hot Chicken and boy did it live up to the hype! Let's start off with first impressions. The building looks super cool from the outside to the inside. From the dope color skeems to the patterns and art work. Staff was amazing as well. Even though we were in a long line everything moved quickly. Staff was very helpful and whoever that lady manager is was doing her freaking job boy I loved her! Now let's get to some negative before we get to the positive. Something was absolutely wrong with that milkshake machine or the product. It was awful tasting and had a weird stringy like glue consistency. We don't know what it was but we quickly threw them away. We even saw other customers pouring their milkshakes out rinsing the cups and getting soda instead. Hopefully by now they have caught this and fixed the situation. Now the positive. The food itself I don't have anything to say but delicious! The chicken was good and everything went so well with each other. Like man the only thing to me that was just okay was the macaroni and cheese it was just cheese and noodles. It just needed a little salt and pepper and it would have been in there. “10/10!! The service and food here was amazing! The location was very clean inside (even though it was snowy and salty outside), this was my first time eating at this location as I was traveling.
The staff was very friendly and patient as well, my brother and I were checked up on several times by the individual behind the counter. I was even more impressed with the fact that I never saw anyone just standing around while no customers were coming in. Every person in the building was always doing something. Whether it was sweeping the entry way floors, wiping tables, or cleaning counters, everyone was working together! And as customers would come in, they were waited on almost instantly no matter what was going on. I love this franchise and the standard of quality/service that they uphold!“

“Came in today and had the chicken tortilla soup medium and the medium tenders and fries. My kids had the same but instead of soup they got waffles. Everything was amazing and will gladly be back for more. The staff were super friendly and approachable and big ups to front cashier and waitress Mari. “Last year I left this place a five star review however the last couple times I’ve been here the quality has gone downhill. Chicken tastes like it’s been sitting under a heat lamp all day, very hard to chew and they forgot the dipping sauce. Fries are never seasoned and my drink is always flat. Food used to come packaged nicely in a box but now it’s thrown together in a paper bag. The workers used to smile but now they can’t bother to even make eye contact before shutting the window in your face. It was good while it lasted but save your money.“

“Awesome hot chicken restaurant. I only came here because I used to watch Houston Crosta's videos on Youtube. Didn't really like him but really just wanted to see what this place was like. It's really nicely decorated inside, nice atmosphere and everything. The employees were incredibly nice, and not in a forced way. I was worried because no one was in there at 1 PM. The sandwich I got impressed me. Probably legit one of the best chicken sandwiches I've ever had. I loved the seasoning, need to find out what's in it.

“This location is part of the hospital. Also, this was my first time trying Chick-Fil-A. The lady messed up my drink. She added ice when I requested none, and then I did not receive any lemons. That was easily corrected. I tried to sit down and eat, only to be informed that the dining area inside the restaurant is for employees only. I had to take my food to the hospital cafeteria. This place does not give refills for drinks, which I find a little strange. I was not impressed with the food here. Next time, I would probably choose somewhere else. I do appreciate the Service, thank you. The staff (Ida and the really tall guy with glasses) were very sweet and professional. Thank you again!“
