We had a wonderful experience at The Golden Stag in Manistee! Shelby was an exceptional server—attentive, friendly, and welcoming. The chef also came out to check on us, which was such a thoughtful touch. Everyone we interacted with was incredibly friendly and made us feel well taken care of. Great service all around, and we would happily return!
We have a lot of great restaurants in Chicago, and the Golden Stag would stand with the best of them. I had the NZ elk and my wife had the blood-orange Chicken. Both were delicious! For dessert we had the tasty and unique banana baklava. A gourmet dinner for 2 at a very reasonable price!

The Golden Stag entree (elk saltimbocca) was bt far one of the best meals I have had in quite some time.
