“Yes and no. The chef/owners ought to try Bad Brad’s Pig Candy (bacon), because the taste and texture is far better and different. The ‘sugar’ bacon here had little flavor and was hard to chew. The perch and cod were good, however I’ve found places better.Scallops super pricey so we skipped them.“

“Antiquing, we found ourselves in Marine City. We decided to eat at the Riviera. Our perch was exceptional. It was lightly seasoned and perfectly prepared allowing the true nature of the delicate fish to be appreciated. The Cole slaw was one of the best, if not the best. The clam chowder was great. The waitstaff was efficient and courteous. Even on a very rainy day the atmosphere offers the diner a great view. We noticed, when leaving, some if the other dinner options being enjoyed by others. The Italian meals looked amazing. My regret is we live in the Irish Hills and Saline. I wish we could dine regularly at the Riviera. Nothing to compare in our areas.“

“First time going here!! Everything about this restaurant was top notch! From Katlyn our server to. Oyster Rockefeller, calamari, soups, Fresh salads (not chemical bag ones) Steaks & seafood was prepared at right temperature, sautéed perch, walleye & Orange roughy perfect! It’s worth the 40 minute drive to us????“
