“My wife and enjoyed our 55th anniversary with dinner at Amore'. Chef Jenna visited every table in our area and asked about every course we ordered. This is by far the best restaurant in the Grand Rapids area: we ordered the 5 course Chef's menu and each had something different from appetizers through desserts so we could taste all. From the waiter, the live music, our beverages, and Jenna's attention paid to all, the best meal ever.“

“Applebee’s is the kind of place that knows its lane and stays in it—casual dining with familiar favorites. It’s not trying to reinvent the wheel, but sometimes, that’s exactly what you want.

The burger was a standout—cooked just right, stacked with toppings, and packed with flavor. And the mozzarella sticks? Perfectly crispy on the outside with that satisfying cheese pull inside. Definitely a solid appetizer choice.

What really made the experience, though, was Kyle. Easily one of the best servers I’ve had in a while. Quick with refills, checked in without hovering, and made sure everything came out hot and fresh. You can tell he actually cares about the customer experience.

If you want to have fun and socialize...I Do NOT recommend you go to West Sife Socal because that is not the vibe of this place. More like ANTI social!!! I love trying new brew and food and my my... the deviled eggs were made and presented in such a way I haven't seen deviled eggs before. I tried the pork slider and it was to die for?
I liked the cute urban atmosphere. Sarah was the first employee to walk up to my table as I had one other guest with me. She came up so quick I love the attentiveness. Then next we had Michelle approach us with a big ol smile that made me smile. At that point I wasn't sure who our server was and didn't care I loved the energy already. Morgan turned out to be our waitress and she's so sweet. Great service, tips/help on the menu for taste of savory and brew. She did wonderful trying to mark where my taste in ? was and brought out samples to my liking. Except one lol but that one was out of curiosity on my own. On top of that, I wasnt having a great day and stepping out to try new grub and ? with good company made me feel better, then Morgan being attentive, thoughtful and courteous in all ways made my evening much better.

“Went in for breakfast our waitress Deb was superb. The food was delicious. However first couple times I went for dinner was not impressed with the seasoned meat felt like it was a bit bland. Have not tried dinner again since letting the training kick in and see if it gets better. But the food for breakfast everything I have had so far is amazing smells good ? tastes good. I was left to get my own eating utensils and condiments. They have a VERY small selection of canned or bottled sodas. The first thing I noticed was that the gravy had been overthickened with corn starch/arrow root powder to the point of being gelatinous. In addition, the beef was of a consistency of having been way to tough to start and severely overboiled to tenderize it. Other than these issues, the depth and quality of flavor easily overcame the previously mentioned shortcomings. The amount of heat was perfect. Sadly though, no fortune cookies are included in the meal. If it hadn't been for the great flavors, I would have rated my visit with three stars instead of four. It is also the reason that I would go back and try other menu items. Next time I will avoid the beef and order chicken.“
