“I was skeptical when my breakfast burrito came out square, wrapped like a pillow, but I'll be damned if this wasn't one of the best breakfast burritos I've had - crispy hashbrowns, lots of eggs/sausage/cheese - simple, and delicious. A *touch* more salt and some complimentary salsa on the side would have put this over the top.“

“I placed an order last week for a dozen frozen pasties to be sent to me in Texas. They put your order through immediately and box it for shipping. Have never had a problem, except this time, Fed-Ex delivered them 6 days later..two days after the day I was scheduled to get them. Sitting in the Texas heat for two days caused the pasties to thaw to the point where they couldn't be saved. Lawry's is sending me the same order free of charge. That is how loyal they are to their customers. They are not only the best tasting pasties, but because of how they treat their customers, they will always get my business. “Since I moved to Marquette from Louisiana I've had so many ask me if I've been to Lagniappe. I finally decided and here's one Louisiana girls honest review. I loved the decorations, atmosphere and music. It really reminded me of home. I was very disappointed they did not have daiquiris or boudin because that's what I've been missing most. The first day we tried the baked seafood fondue.I would rate it a 4. It had pretty good flavor but kind of bland and the texture of the cheese wasn't nice. Shrimp po boy. I rate a 5 as ordered but a 8 of you add a little salt and Creole seasoning! This was really good with seasoning and very similar to the taste of home. The shrimp were small. The sweet tea 3. It didn't taste like brewed tea. It tasted like Nestea. The next day we tried The Gumbo (5) The Catfish Pontchartrain (6) but a solid 8 with salt and Creole seasoning added. It's usually served over rice and that would have made it a 10! I loved it and will get it again. The bread pudding was good but I didn't like that they had raisins in it and the community coffee is good as always! Overall, it's pretty good I'll continue to try more things when I'm missing home“

“Ore Dock Beer is exactly what craft beer should be. Good. Cold. Flavorful. Wife and I got flights each and of the beers we had, not a single pour was poor. All were either good or excellent. Very spacious interior with plenty of outdoor seating. Bartender was friendly and informative.“

“Everything was great! We were in town for Marji and got dinner Friday night. The wait was a little longer than quoted so they threw in some cannoli on the house which was not expected but so appreciated as they were AMAZING.

Alfredo with chicken, spaghetti with meatballs, and fettuccini with olive oil, chicken, tomatoes, basil & garlic were all wonderful, as was the salad. Garlic bread was just meh, not much garlic happening but with how good everything else was, we’d happily come back and just skip it next time.“

“We absolutely loved the Detroit style pizza and house salad. The Jeffery pizza was our choice, and it didn't disappoint: crispy edges, generous helpings of 2 kinds of pepperoni, Italian sausage, mushrooms, red onions and cheese. Every bite delicious! The house salad was full of cheese, cucumbers, cherry tomatoes and sunflower seeds. The lettuce was fresh and varied. Our waiter, J, was great.“

“Everything is usually quick here! My only suggestion is maybe pick up in store rather than at window, the last 3 times I’ve visited we’ve waited a significant amount of time waiting at the window.
On another note, very clean restaurant and the people are friendly!“

“Went there twice for the ribeye. First time was cooked very well. The second time it was cooked more than I'd asked for. It was still good and they did offer to replace it. I declined as it wasn't ruined and still had a great dining experience.“

I've always had issues with my blazen rewards account in that my phone number never ever works to get points while eating in. I've missed out on alot of points over the last few years and nobody ever seemed to care why it wouldn't work. My awesome waitress wanted it fixed so she got the Manager and he was able to force an update to my account and it worked. Best customer service I've ever had! Much appreciated“

“Post-remodeling visit in April 2025. Food is excellent, at least for breakfast. Service was excellent too. Prices are a little high, but most of Marquette is pricey these days. Atmosphere is good, but this is more of a diner than anything fancy. Overall a great place for breakfast or a casual meal.

Breakfast detail: their sausage links did not impress, but bacon was done very well. Pancakes are excellent, and nothing else was below very good.“
