“All our Papa Murphy’s locations in Grand Rapids, Mi. are closed. HOWEVER, the Plainwell, Mi. location is open for business. It is definitely worth the drive to get PM pizza 🍕 in Plainwell. I’ve purchased pizza from all PM franchises in GR. Prepare to be amazed by the premium pizza they create. I met the 2 young gentlemen that are the franchise owners. “When we lived in Plain well we loved this place! We came there tonight with friends and it was terrible l Food was called and when we complained the manager argued with us about how long we waited (We had reservations for 5:15) we didn't get our food until after 6! The manager said we had only been waiting an hour! Plus she made no attempt to warm up our food and just walked away! We drove 30 miles to get there and was treated terrible! Also there was an employee back in the kitchen that should of had his hair pulled back with hair down past his shoulders. We definitely will not be back!!“

“I ordered via DoorDash and the food was great! If I had one request it would be to keep the foods crispy use something other than styrofoam. I just don’t like styrofoam anyway but it keeps steam in and the food like almond chicken gets soggy. Also, the chicken breast for the almond chicken was too thick. Could slice in half or pound it so that it’s thinner. But this was overall a great meal!!“

“Although I do agree of the overall rating of the buffet being 3.7 stars, I do think some of the reviews were a bit extreme. Come to this buffet with the expectation for buffet food and I think you’ll enjoy the experience more. My boyfriend and I came after experiencing a Vegas buffet and wanted something like this in area. This was the closest to where we live. Considering the market price of prime rib and crab legs, we felt the price was fair.
The service was excellent.
Food wise, the crab legs needed little forks , it was difficult to dig the meat out but the overall taste was good - it was just messy and work.
My bf said the prime rib - although medium rare -was a bit dry.
The pizza despite being from a pizza oven was not good but I didn’t expect much, the cheese bread however was perfectly cheesy and gooey.
We skipped the salad bar but I did breeze past it and it looked fresh.
The Asian section and Italian sections disappointed the most. The Alfredo wasn’t good and was the only vegetarian option and the Asian could have benefited from sushi rolls.
We overall enjoyed the American/Chefs/Mexican sections.
The guacamole and beans were flavorful. My boyfriend enjoyed the chimichangas and we both loved the mashed potatoes (wish I had gotten a plate of them) there was also a baked potato with a build your toppings section that looked good. The Mac and cheese disappointed me though. Too dry.
Desserts - I truly saved the best for last. We filled a plate up of one of everything so we could sample it all. The strawberry mousse was so light and fluffy, the espresso cupcake (which was my fav) was rich and flavorful, and my boyfriend devoured the strawberry cheesecake. Every bite we had of the desserts was enjoyable though.

I’m not sure if we would come back, maybe on a non crab leg day, but I did truly overall enjoy the experience.“
